We all are educated and know what are the general questions asked in an interview. But still could not answer them properly at the time of interview. I would suggest that reading articles having views from experienced persons, positioned at responsible posts in good organizations, would certainly help in gaining confidence.

Interview

It was an excellent effort but still few doubts are unclear. In fact a good effort for middle class excutives. I know that most people twist the answer in the interview and this is what the interviewer demands so be carefull while answering. Try to answer from Brain not from heart.

I train people who are just about to enter the work force. When asked "why should we hire you?" what should their response be (apart from the obvious strengths)?

I work as a Manager in an IT industry in San Francisco, US. From time to time I have to conduct interview with hiring candidates. Your questions and answers in articles like these do give us tips and suggestions as to what to look for and expect from a novice candidate. A job well done by you guys.

Thanks,

=Sabi=

by Rohan A Kulkarni on Sep 15, 2006 02:07 PM

I liked the article on handling interviews. Actually captures the Q's that put a candidate in a FIX. Please do come up with such articlas & would request you get more examples, other than HR, to drive your point further.

Thanks
