6 Waya to generate great ideas

Great ideas vs great ideas at work - two different concepts used here as synonym. I agree with the author on all the points but i would like to add further that (i) sincerity towards the work, (ii) hard work with proper planning, (iii) Interest of the institution, you are serving, (iv) and interest of the people you are serving are the key points of success in life. I have kept these four points in my mind and I can say I was more than satisfied with my work and I have recd the best of compliments from my colleagues, seniors and juniors in my career. However exceptions can not be ruled out. Some time (iii) and (iv) above may seem contradictory but if seen in proper perspective they are not. They are complimentary to each other......

(1). Do not under estimate your subordinate as many a times you get appreciated due to their hard work which you had missed out.
(2). Every genuine problem has a solution. Avoid creating habit of creating problems which will harnm not only you but also your organisation.
(3). instead of punishing some one for any error or ommission, try to convence that employee to be more careful in future so that such emburressment avoided.
(4). Have courage to pin point the mistake of your Boss. Boss is not always right.
(5). Try to help others instead of taking help from others. Let it be official work, financial related matters or personal help.

Keep your subordinates and collegues well informed about what you are doing. For subordinates it will help in understanding things faster and they will be able to give better output. Other collegues will look at your work in a different angle, may be like a customer and will be able to pinpoint your mistakes or any correctivemeasures to be taken.

Create family atmosphere

For generating great ideas, follow the things as:
1.Generate family atmosphere- This will strengthen the cool and ceativity environment.
2.Create atmosphere of equaility and brotherhood.
3.Feel the pulse of workers and help them in their domestic problems.
4.Use and exlpore the quality of every worker and take work according their quality.
5.Guide them to come out from their weaknesses.
6.Involve their family members in organization.
7.Balance the comments in positive way.
By this the worker will feel at home and will care, intence in work and generate great ideas.

- love everybody like brothers and sisters and you will win the battle.

- understand the mind of you colleague and study the situation well in advance that everybody will feel comfortable by seeing your approach.

- Always smiling face.

- Effective communication , sweet songs ,

- offer party whenever you feel , your colleague is really wanted , it helps idea exchange and come up with NEW IDEAS ALSO.

Ideas at work

The article is ok for professional bodies. But what about Govt. organisations like PSUs, Co-operatives and autonomous bodies? I am working in such a concern. My experience is that till date, if we share some ideas first of all superiors will deny it but after some time the same idea will be came to lime light as their own. The superiors will not let some subordinate officers to go ahead or give a chance to show their ability even top to bottom is that. If you work hard they sideline the working person colelctively. They will corner the one who works hard and got innovative ideas. This is really cancer. Only 15% of the peopel in Govt./PSUs or Co-operatives/Autonomous bodies work the rest is really a waste and become liability to the organisation as they will damage the organisation itself. How to overcome this. This is a serious things to be discussed and unless the people change their mind the future of the organisations which they work will be in danger in the near future.

A) Try to spare little time with your subordinate and your all employes of your section at least in 15 days have a cup of tea and snaks and invite them in your task to get ideas .It has been found that sometimes a forth class employe gives a idea that is not thought by the senior management.

B)Try to get mere compatable with your subordinates has it helps to find out that your own idea is somewhere needs a mending.
