The article was very useful and informative indeed for those vulnerable women especially those working in the IT sector. It has covered all the safety precautions to be taken to prevent any attack or protect oneself on being attacked. Its not only useful for women but for men too as criminals may target anybody. I guess if each one of us is prepared for any untoward incident we will be able to defend ourselves better. What makes us an easy prey is our belief that, nothing can happen to us and things always go wrong with others.
The biggest safety tip i can give to women is "stop competing with men"... dont say "we are equal to men and hence we go anywhere and do whatever we want to do" sorry, you cannot be equal to men and hence behave like women.... take precationary measures and protect yourselves... take care.

Thanks for the info. It is not only useful for single women but also married working women who have to work late at their office and end up coming late at home. This is esp. for Mumbai ladies who hv to travel a long distance from office to residence & ultimately it is very late at night.
