I have taken mediclaim for Rs.200000 in Dec 2004 without any medical checkup under SBI credit card scheme. The policy was renewed in dec 2005.Now I went thro bypass surgery in march 2006.when claim was put to insurance they say that it is pre existing so they can not pay. Is it not duty of company to get me checked for any disease before issuing policy? why do they reject claim on such fil,msy ground?
