I have attended J1 visa interview at US consulate chennai on 5th Sep 2008. I have given pink slip (221g). I have sent the filled in SAO questionnaire in txt format the very next day. Thereafter my case was pending process on the consulate web site. On 31st Oct the status again changed to RESPOND TO QUESTIONNAIRE. What to do, pl help

In 2006 I was given B1/B2 visa for 3 months single entry. Visited US for 2 weeks. In April 2008 got B1/B2 for one year after addtional processing, which was completed less than one month. Visited US stayed for 3 weeks. In August went for Blanket L1B, again yellow slip was handed over mentioning addtional processing. One month over, no news. All these interviews at US embassy ,Singapore. How long it may take? Any suggestion.
Hello.. I have been rejected F1 visa twice with 214b- Chennai. My employer has filed me a L1 visa, So will that affect my chances of getting a L1 visa in the near future.
I work for a company B via a big company A (company B client to company A). The Company B is very happy to take me as their direct employer. Now my total exp both direct and indirect in 1 year, am I eligible for an L1 with Company B or do I need to spend one more year with cmp B to start my L1 processing ?
my sister has applied for F1 visa on 18th of june. She still hasn't got the visa. the status shows that her visa is pending under section 221(g). her course is starting on 3rd of september. she has booked tickets for 10th of August. we enquired in US embassy about how much the appoximate time the administrative proceedings take. They said they cannot tell estimated time. what to do now? will she able to get visa before 10th of august?
My parents moved to the US on a temp work visa 3 years ago, and since then i have been trying to follow them over. I'm single and 24 yrs old, i have already been granted a B1 travel visa but would like to obtain a work permit. My parents have recently upgraded to permenent resdencey status but i am told that if they want to sponsor me the process could take 8 - 12 years.
Is there another way around this to get a working visa quickly thru my parents?
