Thank my lord, I chose Management consultancy.
Sleep in airports, eat airline food. Mastering power point and always pressed for time.

Flip side: Awesome chicks, Big clients(who even try to poach you), flashy cards and cars.

outlook: Young, snotty and constant thought of attaining Nirvana.

Cheers.

Life is like that, Try starting up a firm on your own. Its always more exciting and more rewarding.

Mr Rohan,
You would have done well when the Britishers were there around sucking all our wealth since what you bother about is getting money, come what may, even if it means to GROVEL (the very word u proudly used in ur article) at other's feet. Well, the hard reality is that people like u do succeed in making lot of money at the cost of ur low self esteem and its because of people bureaucracy is growing rampant like a parasite.

You have not mentioned about your family life and your future plans.

Also how easy or tough is it for a b-school grad to jump from a Research Analyst's profile to that of an I-banker?

Regards
Mukul.

your writing skills are excellent. if you ever get really fed up with investment banking, you can start writing about finance and earn much more than what you are earning as investment banker. constant royalties.

Hey Rohan ,

That's nice to know about investment banker's work and social life. The way you put presented is just too good.
I came to know a bit about the job i want to be in. I think every good has it's disadvantages too and so are with investment Banking.

Will love to meet you sometime to know your life experiences.

I am a software professional in an mnc and life here is almost the same...it's on us how we enjoy.
