No other party will ever win
by ASD on May 28, 2009 04:36 PM  | Hide replies

in this country, except for congress. 55 yrs of rule has so well solidified their base that every department of govt admin has their 'yes boss' like the police, CEC and even the Supreme Court. Even the media has not been spared.
We, the ppl, can just pray for some of these cong men to look for the good of the country.
JAI HO!

Congress was out of power from 1996 to 2004 due to poor pool management & arrival of BJP on national scene. The poor media management by BJP & its inability to keep pace with changing demographics brought Congress back in reckoning.Congress takes care of media who eats from their hand while BJP for strange reasons has become a pariah for the media.Politics is now more a game of marketing your achievements than onnecting with grassroots & people fond congress this time more suitable to rule. There is however no such thing as permanent in politics & same people can vote NDA back if they come up with a saleable agenda.

Cabinet : Extension of dynastic rule
by vijaya kumar on May 28, 2009 04:32 PM  | Hide replies

Congress and the media may project cabinet as a mix of experience & youth but in real fact it is extension of the dynasic rule by the congress, just have a look at the so called young brigade, they all are sons and daughters of the ex ministers or ex cheif ministers. Further all congress loyalists whether they are in civil services or in politics, they are rewarded as ministerial berths. It is just an eye wash by the congress and their freinds in media to project congress as party with ethics and concern for youth. No consideration is given to capability. JAI HO CONGRESS AUR ENGLISH MEDIA. As an Indian I am not worried who gets cabinet berths but are we in safe hands, whether we are safe with inaction towards the terrorists and their masters, appeasment policies and corruption at all levels.

Ashok...

Possible, I say this is waiting to happen, Congress loses one or two states in the coming years and you see Rahul coming up as the PM.

Our Maharashtra too is crying for a change, hopefully people will vote the Yuti to power this time.

Enough of Congress.

MMS Successor...
by IndiaforIndics on May 28, 2009 04:07 PM  | Hide replies

Being a Congress supporter and voter, I am worried of the country's opposition to Rahul Gandhi which might hurt the Congress party's electoral prospects.

I think Congress should project Jyotindraraje Scindia as their possible PM candidate too. He belongs to a solid H1ndu Maratha family back ground, highly educated, sophisticated and has the royal lineage.

Incidently, his father Late Shri Madhavrao too was in reckoning, however his untimely death resulted in a lot of mess.

Congress must bear in mind the opposition to Sonia and Rahul Gandhi and have a contingency plans to project Young turks like Jyotindraraje as PM candidates.

PS: Although I am a Congress supporter, I am not happy with Rahul or even Priyanka as future PM's.

Congress must introspect.....
by IndiaforIndics on May 28, 2009 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

It must analyze that this huge victory is thanks to H1ndus,S1khs and Dal1ts and not coz of Minorities.

Congress should now go all out to appease the H1ndus,S1khs and Dal1ts.

Minorities ( Musl1ms especially) must be dumped as they cannot be trusted at all.

Now thes Ministers will start their ghotals, kick-backs, scandals, looting, land fraud, black mails all good things to fill their pocket, I think there is not a single honest Minister without bribes or kickbacks except Late Priminister Lal Bahdur Shastry.

Correct again a Congressman who believed in Right to centrist policies.

The only salvation of the Congress is keeping the H1ndus and Indics happy, else they will be kicked out.

Minorities must be shown the door by the Congress. They not trust worthy.

It is not a question of trust. The simple thing is that they are NOT SECULAR. Only the majority community is expected to be secular all the time.
