This is a litmus test for MMS and Sonia
by Sanjeev Singh on May 27, 2009 04:25 PM

MMS - a full time beuracrat and Sonia an inexperinced leader has full challnges. The party is torn between a desire to strnghen the organisation in hindi heartland and keeping allies intact. So the party has to give representation to its newly elected MPs from UP, Rajsthan in Govt and keep Mamta, Karuna and Abdullah in good humor. I remeber 1984 when Rajiv Gandhi was the darling of media and people licked him out in next 5 years. History should not repeat -thats my only fear .till then Jai ho Indian and enjoy piza and lassi.

Likewise another cut piece is fading now. A R Antulay, the man who made outrageous statements regarding the Malegoan conspiracy to cover up some one.

BTW,Modi will be around for avery long time in national politics. He is still revered by millions of Indians.

Guest, cut piece is 1000 times better than without cut which carries all kind of deceases and virus. Forget about A.R Antualy & Malegoan but Sadhvi is lucky she is enjoying with Tandoori chicken and hot ghee rice.

BJP is a party with all kinds of people. Its a nationalist party which has general agenda for betterment of India. It is not corrupt as congress nor supports casteism and religionism. I agree some people in BJP are axxholes. But you cannot condemn the whole bunch for it. Learn to identify good and bad people and stop generalising. BJP is hated by 2 streams. Its fundamental Islamists and Christians. Because they fear their life is under threat and loose all the previleages they are getting for their anti-national activities through congress (Good people in both communities excuse me). Lower voter turnaround benifitted COngress. This is all natural. In one way, I feel what happened, it was for BJP's good. They will identify junk guys inside, and also reviewing the economy at this time is not that easy. In next election their failure to stabilise economy would have been big issue.

Now Mr. PM your 100 days of reviewing the economy has already started. Hope you remember your election promises.

What a bad precedent for Parliamentary democracy
by Ram Sharma on May 27, 2009 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

Sonia chose MMS as PM in 2004, but did not ask him to get elected to Loksabha and he continued as PM for 5 yrs. Earlier also some Rajya Sabha members were made PM, but they went for getting directly elected by the people in Loksabha after holding this office. In 2009 also MMS was surprisingly not given a Loksabha ticket and he is contnuing as PM without being a Loksabha member. Earlier he had fought only one Loksabha election from Delhi and was defeated.

This is a joke and a very bad precedent and practice introduced by Sonia.

Inspite of winning 206 seats, these people are not sure on how to go about the government.

Sample this with the BJP/NDA government in 1998, BJP won 189 seats formed the alliance and made the Prime Minister the head of the alliance, to maintain discipline. Mamta tried to act funny and Vajpayee showed her the door.

Still NDA govt. did not have any no confidence motions, majority proving sessions in the parliament.

Some alliance govt. we have today.

What can we expect?
by Ram Sharma on May 27, 2009 03:31 PM  | Hide replies

What can we expect from this govt? Out of 206 Cong MPs, 41 r criminals and 137 r crorepatis (as per their own declaration, there r many more such MPs - e.g. Sonia & Rahul r also crorepatis, though they hv not given such declaration - as the price of their land holding is much higher than they hv specified. How can these crorepatis b concerned about common man?). Cong is a dynastic party, so all Congmen worry only about themselves and the dynasty leaders.

All MPs of UPA want ATM ministries and r fighting for the same, so that they can milk the exchequer as much as possible. Corruption is not an issue with them (it of course does not mean that the opposition party MPs r very honest - many of them r also highly corrupt).

Yes I know yr opinion from below given reply to a msg. U don't mind if the country is blown. But u r so much biased against BJP that they should not rule. Though they had ruled for 6 yrs till 2004.
