Thank You Congress......
by IndiaforIndics on May 28, 2009 11:12 AM

Congratulations on your fantastic victory. The notable thing is that you have realized that this victory of yours is thanks to the Majority H1ndu,Sikhs and other Indic culture religions and not minorities.

I am glad that you have realized this, as you can see by banking on support of Musl1ms keeps your party in the opposition benches.

You must never, ever try and hurt sentiments of the Indic religions.

They are the majority, without whom you cannot win elections in India.

Keep them minorities away and India will support you.

All most of all young Ministers of MMS selected by Rahul Gandhi are crorepatis and sons or daughters, nephews, of Senior congressmen who where Ministers in the earlier Congress Govt. No body is from a Kissan or poor family. They will do only salvery of Sonia Gandhi dynasty.

media frontmen
by stephen on May 28, 2009 10:42 AM  | Hide replies

One of the bigger reasons for BJP defeat was lack of propaganda machinery especially with the print and electronic media which clearly had pro Cong bias . It was appaling to see very non assertive people being put in debates and discussions for BJP in these mediums . Even people like Swapan Dasgupta who should have effectively handled single handedly most of the congress machinery in a biased press and electronic media coverage and debates did not show up at all .
BJP really need to do a lot of soul searching and find what will it take to get votes (rather than parrot some of the old themes which do not excite voters now ). We need BJP as it is solid alternative to a a party which has ruled the country for 60 yrs and the state of the country is therefore clearly linked to the policies adopted during this time .

Eighth wonder of the world
by Ramesh Anand on May 28, 2009 10:11 AM  | Hide replies

The victory of Congress is Eighth Wonder of the World.Every one can not be wrong. No one expected congress to win so many seats. It was neck to neck.Congress or Sonia was perspiring. There was no wind in favour of Congress. But they have won.It is nothing less than electronic fraud on EVMs.(electronic voting machines). Whereever they could they influenced by means not known to us except that even in bank accounts operated electronically, one can remove the cash and deposite it in some other account. If this can happen in the matter of money deposited in bank accounts why can it not happen in case of votes deposited in the name of one person/party to shift them to other person/party.Remember congress was loosing allmost in all the seats of Uttaranchal Assly Elections(I am talking when congress formed govt in Uttaranchal)and Congress President Harish Rawat was so disgusted that he announced that he is resigning from the post. This happened arount 12.30 p.m. And low within half an hour congress started leading in as much as 37 seats and won. What was this? Not only that, the Delhites were fedup with congess govt and then there was Jehadi massacre in Karole Bagh,Beadon Pora killing about a hundred people. You talk to anybody,he was against congress rule.Every one expected it to lose Delhi.Even exit poll predicted. But no. Congess won with two thrid majority. Now there was an environment sort of ,to take congress winner even if some one expected it loosing. And now when no body could even

dream of congress getting such a big lead, congress itself got about a hundred seats more. It happened when even Sonia was nervious and perspiring.Every one was predicting that it will be neck to neck. So it is nothing it is electroic fraud.BJP is a party of casual people not fully awake to various eventuality. Infact people are more worried about BJP winning than the BJP cadre itself. It looks as if BJP is favouring congress victory one way or the other. It may prove to be inside story after a year or two. But I request the experts in computer science to getdetails of counting from govt and experiment of shifting of votes from one party to another

BJP's Advertisement Management & Media Management was poor
by Sandeep Kumar on May 28, 2009 10:10 AM

BJP's Ad campaign was far from professional modern-day ad campaigns. The Ads just showed Advani with a background song. Whereas in sharp contrast, Congress' Ad campaign projected common people's opinion, middle class working professionals, etc. Whether these opinions are true or not is anybody's guess. But the way, the Congress' Ad agency showed it was simple too good to believe that it was a false propaganda. BJP failed on the Ad campaign in the last election, and they have now repeated the same mistake again. The Ads need to show real people, real problems, real issues in real background and then show how BJP will solve all these. I think its high time BJP understand the importance of Ad-Campaign management and Media management. The BJP has very few friends in the Media. Let us all accept this fact, in today's world; Media can create or destroy the image of any celebrity, Political party, or a Corporate. Its time now to bring in professional PR Management, and a Marketing team which would give a facelift to BJP's image in the eyes of the youth, the farmer, the business man, the labor, the middle class clerk, the students, the IT professionals, the government employees, the women, the socially backward classes, the Hindus, the Muslims, the Christians, the Sikhs, the rich, the poor, and everybody. There has to be niche marketing and Ad campaign catering to all these segments, individually so that every body feels that it is my party. And BJP will do something for me
