Its the right approch, the govt should give right signals and corrupt must go,secondly DMK supremo wants his entire family to be ministers either in state or in the centre,as if they are above all Indians and are super humans, lets say good by to them.

Not a matter
by SA SI on May 22, 2009 03:43 PM

Flexing muscle against allies is not a matter. We don't worry about it.

It should flex muscle against corruption, poverty, terrorists and bad economy.

Allies are not a matter if one ally goes then another one comes.

But the great respect for INDIA in the world community crated by VAJPAYEE GOVERNMENT is to be keep by this MMS.

The last 5 years is not a matter because the world economy was boom and the congress has no financial problems and gave many discounts to voters and get power.

But the forthcoming 5 years is not like that, world economy is bad and most of the companies stopped their new units and everyone is in maintain mood.

So there will be lot of challange is ahead for MMS to do.
So he should flex his muscle against those problems

Congress dealing with allies
by Omprakash Gupta on May 22, 2009 03:36 PM

Congress is on the right path asserting the right of being the largest party in Lok Sabha. The party is looking forward to emerge as a force that can form governments on its own. The allies can not afford to go for reelection. The government shall not be defeated in the House. That is the big plus point determining assertiveness of the Congress. People shall like the nationalist parties to be more assertive and leading. Blackmailing by the regional parties includung the communists, has to end in best interest of national unity.

If congress is really want to fight against corruption then it should pledge to bring our money from Swiss bank.
The regional parties have grown just because Congress govt didn't deliver schemes properly in their 55 years of rule

UPA ALLIES
by divakaran mohanan on May 22, 2009 03:28 PM

Shuldnot bged down by the allies like DMK. Asin the nuclear deal, left has been asked to get outy our PM in July,2008. And an election was held on that period UPA would have got more seats than what they got noew. However, keeping unpleasent with DMK is not the tradtion Persuation is needed. Even then if they defiant let them be out for clean image of govt. governing by "MSR"

the question from rediff itself is wrong
by on May 22, 2009 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

This is not the question of becoming arrogant. It is the reality of being independent and working without pressure. I am sure the new look congress is very clear to keep corrupt politians away. Thanks to the young Rahul. At least now he has got a free hand from his mother. The genuineness of Rahul and the expertise of MMS will make India as a Super Power in the next 5 years. Pillai
