It is really very sad to know that instead of doing good 4 the people, these smaller parties R fighting for Cabinet berths. Comon Mamata plz do good in your own state then think of the Centre. Take example from Lalu!

Why Didi is so adamant about Railways ? Does she wants to teach lessons to some `particular'people ? She adamant about getting Railway ministry in Atala Behari Vajapayee Govt too ! BNut, she can never be good Railway Minister. Best Railway Minister was Nitish Kumar and Lalu got the name as he implemented Nitish's policies.

Congress has an oppurtunity to win people's hearts and faith if they reward good performance. Lalu is a selfish politician (God knows why he turned his back on congress just before the election....and of course he phuked bihar for 20 yrs) but he turned railways from a loss making company to one of india biggest profit making PSU.....these good work should be rewarded by letting him continue as railway minister. These will give a signal to ppl that congress wants to do good work rather than dirty politics

The problem with your argument is that there is no account of the traveler who travelled with the indian railways. agreed that there was no increase in travel fares, the quality of travelling had gone down. I wonder what mamta bannerjee would do. My personal opinion is that the good work which Congress has shown now needs to be repeated in this field. The Indian Railways cannot be left to crumble (infrastructure wise) and there is a pressing need to infuse fresh ideas on how to improve the structure, service and quality of an Indian Railways journey. it should be a high-tech, 21st century entity and for that to happen, it should not go into the hands of somebody who lacks dynamism. the way i see umamta bannerjee would repeat what Lalu did in the office- use it to their own political gains.

yes the ministers mostly work for them selves.if you had seen the comparison of wealth declared by politicians in 2004 and 2009 comparison most them have increased by crores. this goes to prove most of them have earned money in dubious way, that is the reason people are given money/ daru/ and aht not to vote. it is a fact Madurai many had a cover with Rs.750 slid in the house by DMK. they have stacked black money stacked in swiss banks.next time they should ask to declare all the bank accounts. P.Chidambaram was travelling almost every week to his Sivaganga constituency but what he has done is not at all commensurate with his amassing personal wealth. KARTHI CHIDAMBARAM's only job is to bull doze all banks to change their symbols and name boards just to fill his coffers. Crores of money spent on the make over if it was invested in a Milk Dairy plants across the country many of the farmers or people having milch animals would have been made to earn their money and country can grow. PM should identify only those ministers who can contribute in positive way and contribute to Nation.
