Azhar as sports minister
by Asli Hindustani on May 21, 2009 02:31 AM  | Hide replies

I dont care who gets what but Azhar must definitely become Sports minister. UPA must prove that it is serious about minority development!

Azhar getting elected is the joke of elections...He initially asked for Hyd/Sec'bad cont. But cong refused and gave him mooradabad as 70% are muslims. Now tell how many times will he stay in the backward state that too in a more backward constituency.

He is a onetimer MP...enjoy and make money....get away doing nothing...

Railway development for WB but what about other states?
by Guest on May 21, 2009 02:23 AM  | Hide replies

-Banerjee had stated that she would not bargain for any ministry and she only wanted the ""development of West Bengal"".
And how about other states? This is the kind of attitude which has led this country so bad. Every ministry wants to develop their state( They dont do that also) and they dont talk India as whole. Come on wake up politcians... Hope Mr.Manmohan takes note of these things.

Hasn't she messed up the Railways earlier.
I also remember lasi time some RPF persons entered a Sleeper bogie and went straight to a numbered berth to plonk themselves, only to find it allotted. They cursed to find that then new Rail Minister, Mamta had cancelled this allotment to them in all trains!!

why do bihar and bengal always get railway ministry???
by tim jim on May 21, 2009 01:45 AM

why cant for once give other states a chance, out of every 10 trains six go to bihar and bengal and this will further increase. give a ministry to North east or south atleast majority of states will get trains then may the sardarji have some sense this time. mamta banerjee will ask for automobiles ministry and give ratan tata sleepless nights hah

If he is an uneducated, uncultured or whatever you are saying, you know his posiiton where he is, you cant even think about this, only a frusrated unemployed person can talk like this, who cant achived anything in life,

so dude we have to respect what he did for railway, we have all seen reduction in railway fare in each year, all minsters only hiked the fare but Lalu proved that without increasing in fare the railway could be in profit to concentrate on other things. i know he done mistake not going with UPA but still he accepting the mistake and will work together with UPA. God bless Lalu and whoever who is doing good work for aam aadmi

This is only due to Nitish Kumar before that Mamta Banerjee who brought drastic changes in Ploicies of Railways. Ask any Railway employee he will explain you better.

Well as per my understanding, This result was not in any ways credited to Mr. Lalu, It was the outcome of policies which were being changed since last 10 years by some good Ministers like Nitish Kumar ets...

yes Indian, u r right about Paswan!
It was Mamta who started the first reforms under NDA
And the profit of railways is not Laloo's credit. Its simply because Indian economy itself was growing at an avg of 8.5% per annum so all the sectors got boost. Hence, it was no "Laloo magic".

@ TZ, and so dude stop glorifying someone(Laloo or anyone) without knowing the actual story.
As you said, yes we should give credit where it's due(only!). For example, Chandrababu Naidu for Hyderabad,Modi for Gujarat(post-2001 reforms)
But, idiots and thieves like Laloo does not deserve it

mr bihari i dont know how far you ur bihari or of any other state.no individual like u have the capibilities to judge the cabinet minister because u ar nothing more than a common man & whose voices ur not at all taken into account by the decision maker in the cabinet, analyse your self before making any comment or else you will be viewed as every body as foolish bihari & it will ruin the behari image.laluji has done excellent jobs in the railways which no railway minister in the past & in the near future will able to compete him.mamta banerjee does not possess the qualities & courage of laluji to handle the railways & that will be judge by the time itself.mamtaji is just like md- bin- tublaq an aggressive women without any specific vision.

I think West Bengal is useless state and have produced so many useless personalities, which the foolish Bengalis think they are wise. Instead my Bihar is great which preferred to tread a progressive path under the Lallo Prasad Yadav. Unlike Bengal which is going to be doomed under the leadership of whether it is Buddhadeb or Mamta. because of its useless Bengalis shit

This is secularism
by Speaking Tree on May 21, 2009 12:24 AM  | Hide replies

On ibn7, Lalu has given interview in which he thank only Muslims as they have helped in defeating "Communal forces". So that majuority of hindus in karnatka , chattisgarh, gujrat are communal?? Is this seculisnm in which particular community vote in mass so that particuar party wins.No wonder why PM says that minorities( second largest minority who votes in block)have first right of nation's wealth( not the poor. downridden people).

Lalu is a clown, I dont know who takes him seriously... looking at the numbers, not the Bihar Muslims to say the least ;-)
"First right" comment from PM was little irresponsible and also blown out of proportion. If reservations were meant to identify the "POOR" class, Muslims are poor and should get reservation: I guess thats what he MIGHT have meant. However being said all that, am neither from Bihar nor a pro-reservation policy for ANYONE supporter.
Comments like these are meant to scare the minorities, to project the majority as demons (right wing parties do just the opposite) and trust me, so far these politicos have been hugely successful in planting this in our minds. No matter what, this elections showed that ppl have moved on from divisive politics and hopefully we won't see much blackmailing in parliament for next 5 years :)
