The real Indian history and formation of hellish societies
by Babun on May 21, 2009 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

It is our fortune.Artificial poverty was always there in Bengal.Nehru was the creator of Bengal famine, then he passed on his skills to his successors.Prabashee Bengalees were not comminuist, but what happened to them? They were prohibited to speak in Bengalee & abused while celebrating their cultural functions at public places or into their courtyards.North Indians,Sikhs and punjabies have been used by RSS and BJP,to destroy their kids and living. Bengalees were refrained from all administrative posts, even petty clerks were deserted from their meagre salaries. These are the natur's rules,Some species have to survive and others have to be extinct. No one could change these formulae.Bengalees are on the verge of extinct.Say it fortune of mahakal.Mamta is an angel who is sparking at that crucial moment when the candle fire gets extinguished. North Indians spread seeds of hatred, divisions and send racial politics & parties and so on,to other states, then, gradually, they capture business, culture, economy and administration of those tragic or unlucky states, start implementing their doctrins and run tyranny & ruine those societies. At last, they change that area into a hell as Bihar. They will be in adimnistration and others have to survive under their oppressive rulers. They did it in many states and territories of the world,Nepal was one of the many examples.Same things had been practiced by Maharastrians in South-West.They never allow others in central ministry & administration.

You are too much emotionally charged to talk about national politics. However others are not too different since every post talks about regionalism and tries to establish why a minister from their background is better than others - surely it benefits them ...what else can be the reason :(

Mamta donot ever think beyond bengal. her only concern is bangal and farmer of bangal. Her "chalbo na" attitude is very regressive and harmful for development. her this attitude will be very harmful for the Railways. She will stop all the privatization in railway.

Cannot agree if Mamata will be the best Railway Minister. But she has changed her a lot from her past and got rid of her idiosyncracies... or at least we hope so her does that very soon. But she is more honest than a lot of other politicians and today we need that. We have seen a lot of shrewds, criminals, money launders, scamstars but savvy, polished, eloquent politicians. We do not need to many of them to make sales speech. We are a rural country with millions of people not owning houses, cars or even jobs. Most of us do not get proper infrastrucuture and healthcare. We want to current government to work for those goals - they have to walk to talk ...No sales speech anymore...Honestly !!

Adequate representation to minorities
by Javed Shaikh on May 21, 2009 10:09 AM  | Hide replies

The congress govt should not forget that they have come to power only because of the complete support of minorities and should ensure that muslims are given proportionate representation in parliment. They should now also make sure that muslims are adequately represented in all spheres of indian public, economic and social life and implement reservations for muslims at the earliest.

Yes, the Govt should do that. Basically we should have everything divided on the basis of religion, caste, language and gender. So the day a child is born, we can stamp the destiny of that child. Nothing left to what the child can achieve in life...no place for meritocracy. Sad state of affairs in our motherland. Even educated people (like you) want reservations. Why can't we work hard at every level of life? In fact, it's high time we started reducing the reservations and the Govt should have the guts to phase this out in the next 10 yrs. Reservations have only been abused by the less-deserving and the rich people. Never reached a man /woman who deserves.

that's the attitude you have and because of that only you have not shown any development in your community inspite of being ruler for 400 years in this country and now call yourself backword. no one else is responsible for your backwordness but you only. you can shout and dont accept this but this is bitter but hard truth.

Guys, we demand reservation not because of our backwardness but to counter the discrimination that an average muslim has to face in his everyday life, in every aspect of life. Muslims are victimised everywhere and singled out for discrimination. Our youth are falsely accused of terrorism, resulting in encounters like the batla house one. The only way to redress this is to make sure muslims are allowed a level playing field and take whatever steps are required to ensure a level playing field.

Keeping Bad Eggs Out
by Ajith Kumar on May 21, 2009 10:02 AM

IF The Congress manage to keep the Lalus,Paswans and Arjun Singhs out of the Cabinet that would be the Kick Start India needs.
Will the P.M be able to Keep those who have serious Criminal Records against them out of the Cabinet or any Government Positions.
The people have great hopes and has given the
party a solid base. They should not be let down.

Suggestion to Sonia / Rahul
by rajnish kr agrawal on May 21, 2009 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

Mamta should not be the Railway minister, as we have seen her performance before. She is the worst minister. Moreover she is only interested to work for Bengal and not for the country. She does not desserve the railway ministry. I am sure she will make the situation worse but only good for Bengalis in West Bengal. Nitish was the best minister.

We should select some young person who has brains and is competent enough to work hard and smartly. He/ she will work for improving railways for the country unlike Mamta. Even Lalu was 100 times better than her.

We need a strong leader for Improvement!

Yadav is sometimes credited with the financial turnaround of Indian Railways, that was on the verge of bankruptcy before his appointment to the office. But it was actually an IAS officer who graduated from the Delhi School of Economics, Mr Sudhir Kumar who turned it around. read wikipedia :-) Only good Ministers can do is not to interfere and also not to siphon funds out of it ...got it?

Here we go again. Will the P.M be
able to bear the tantrums this un-predictable lady from Bengal unleash even for petty things. Will she walk out of the
Government if ALL Railway Projects are not given to Bengal.
Cabint positions are serious and
important not to be entrusted to
street fighters.

Mr Ajith Kumar, you are very much ill-informed.You do not know the groud situation in West Bengal. Because of Mamta CPM, this time, will not be able to negate the development programmes envisaged by Govt. Unless Mamta works in the grassroots the scenario will not change. She can not be termed unpredictable as these words you learned from the misleading propaganda made by her opponents. For your information be educated that most of the railway projects were initiated by her and the fruits are being enjoyed by the last two railway ministers.Think before making comments.

No Bihari Raily Minister Please

We have had Railway Ministery going to Biharies with successive govts. The ministers only look after Bihar at the cost the rest of the country. Mumbai's lifeline in the Railways and always gets sidelines when it comes to goodies. It is high time to have a Railway minister from Mumbai.

What a coincidence ?

DMK won 18 seats
Prabakaran was killed on 18th May
It's Rajiv Gandhi's 18th Death Anniversary
1 plus 8 = 9, i.e, Amma Jaya's lucky Number
and Amma won 9 Seats this election.
