This is the not the first time Karunanidhi is going to Delhi for haggling for Cabinet berth. If things go according to plan, he might succeed in getting the following:
Dayanidi Maran - Telecom - he has to consolidate the Sun TV empire and spike the attempts of rivals; if Vijayakant wants to start a channel to dish out his own biased views, he will find it an uphill task now.
T R Baalu - Shipping - Sethu samudram project has to be completed now as most of his contractor relatives are itching to fill in their coffers.
Raja - some ministry - he has to be rewarded for successfully preventing the Spectrum scam from becoming a major scandal
Kanimozhi - some ministry - may be HR & D - she is a self-declared poetess and she is tired of going to Stalin every now and then for pocket expenses. She wants to have her own swiss-back account.
Azhagiri - Home Ministry or Mining- presently the Chief Minister of South Tamil Nadu. He has ambitious plans of accumulating 1000 crores before the next election.
J K Ritheesh - some ministry - little known fact is that he is also a family member. He is being groomed to counter the opposition of filmy upstarts.
He might spring a surprise by nominating a non-family member too but he would be a 'raja -type non-descript but totally loyal servant of the family. Watch out this space!

People who talk about MK's family does not know the struggles faced by them. They suffered a lot during emergency period and their family members contribution really helped to re-build the party and faced the MASS LEADER MGR with lots of courage.

Even a kid wud know the agression MK and his family (Esp. Stalin) did prior to emergency. What you sow you reap, they sowed hatred and aggressiveness and got back the same from Police Lathi.

even after knowing all this still this alliance was voted to power.incredible.i think the indian electorate goes in some type of a high whileentering the polling booth and does not know which button to press.

My point is how compromises are made in politics just to be in power.Advani calls MMS a weak PM. There were PMS compromising very little but unfortunately they were infamous and shortlived.
Nice to see these things happening.Azhagiri is a thug and i am sure he also wants to go to delhi. can't he simply take a tour and comeback?Atleast can't they get refined themselves before taking the political positions.I really wish tamilnadu people suffer more becoz of this family politics and an end will happen similar to some movies scripted by karuna himself.its coming

There hasn't been more nepotistic man in india than Karunanidhi. Not even the Gandhi family, who atleast had one successor at any time and didn't push too many at the same time. Devegowda perhaps comes a close second.
If congress Ministry really wants to show its gratitude to the public voted it to power again it should avoid accommodating party notorious for corruption like spectrum etc. Especially the Ramar Sethu samudram project should be kept away from those who give least regards to Hindu Gods and often criticise and make fun of Hindu Gods without caring the mental agony caused to Hindus. It will be wise and safe to allot such important portfolios to congress party MPs so that the PM could exercise control over them and ensure effective and corruption free implementation of importtant schemes.

MK can support from outside with condition good life to be given to tamils in srilanka.Equal rights to be given to them.Time frame of 6 months can be given.The process should be inspected by corruption free good willing tamil persons.If every thing is ok then he can go for cabinet birth.IAM NOT SAYING THIS ONLY TO MK but it is to all Tamil MPs elected from 40 places.Even congress person should accept this bcoz THEY R ELECTED BY PEOPLE OF TAMILNADU NOT BY OTHERS.So they have to do this.MK says he is leader of tamil,lets see whether he is tamil leader or sin for tamil.
