He appointed 16 VCs in newly opened cerntal university with a good amount of kickback.
Even if could not process the faculty scale of AICTE teachers with the politics of Govradhan Mehta committee...Now, AICTE teachers are getting old pays....Very unfortunate things for higher education...

Can you elaborate more on this? I know Goverdhan Mehta committee was formed for IIT scales. I thought only IIT pay scales are not increased, rest everyone's has increased? But you are saying all other AICTE faculties are also not increased? Is this true?
All the politicion who crrosed the age of 70 should be retire from the politics if they are not accesepted by there family?then they should be shifted to old home

70? that's too early for Indian politics ... unless you are a gandhi, you dont get known before 50
The congress has done a great duty by finishing off Maya, Mulayam. Lalu and the Leftists. Now they should finish the job by dropping Arjun Singh for ever. Though I am surprised by Arjun's shamelessness. He was crying openly on TV the other day and now he is asking to be a Minister!

I concur. This Arjun Singh should be dropped like a hot cake with out any mercy. Sonia has so far been very successful in sidelining him. She knows a rotten apple when she sees one.She cut Mani Shanker Iyer to size.
Arjun Singh can barely see and walk properly, how can a man of such a caliber decide the fate of the GenX of India. It's a big shame if he retains his portfolio. Mr. Arjun Singh please step down and let others run the show.

Arjun Singh has corrupted the education system in India to the core. Even the educationists have become corrupt inspectors in Arjun Raj. Must India suffer further with him at the apex body as a Cabinet Minister? NO, and Never again, at any position of influence.
A person who promotes mediocracy and encourages incapablity and inefficiency in the society for votebank politics deserves nothing but a kick on his ars. Today's victory of the Congress is due to Arjun Singh. His reservations in higher institutions gave Congress the OBC votes. His support to VC of Aligarh University for funding legal expenses of terrorists brought Congress the muslim votes. But Congress is now cheating him.
