How Congress Won ?
by rkdmumbai on May 19, 2009 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

Congress did not win because it is popular party. They won due to money power, deceiving nature and Media factor.
Down with Indian Media who have projected Congress for their selfish interest.

Hi RKD,
Can you please elaborate this. If you are saying that, I am sure you must be having supprting points for that and not shouting just beacuse of frustration.
Kindly let us know the same. We might not be having the bigger picture.
Desparatley need eye-openers like you.

s.iqbal,
RKD is 100% correct, this I am writing from Gujarat - I am not BJP man or not a Congress man. But the congress party local leaders bribed this election in the whole nation that I have seen in Baroda by my eyes and this was reported from Malayalam tv channels in Kerala, AIDMK leader Jayalalita complained about money bribe in her state by Congres/DMK alliance, TDP leader in Andhra Pradesh also complained the same. But one thing is clear that this will not last for ever and the truth will come out once.

Quite true - the results in Karnataka show that as the case.

But the story is over for right wing fascists - the key reason the NDA lost.

You mean because the left-wing fascists are so entrenched in power?

Don't be too complacent. Your chickens have yet to be hatched. All sorts of things can happen: successful attacks on parliament by ISI-funded terrorists, for example.

RURAL INDIA MATTERS MOST.
by debesh kanungo on May 19, 2009 12:26 PM  | Hide replies

I am touring frequently to rural india & Ihave been doing it since 2002 as per my nature of jobs, though i live in a metro.
Villagers are always concentrating on source of income for a livelihood.
thats the priority No 1
No2 is price of their farming products & basic needs.
few do small business in nearest towns.
if you discuss with them, you can know the real truth.their want is source of money,no other things come into their mind.
So Govt. must consider that point first.
Other points raised by BJP particulary never touch their mind.
once i asked about religion or ram mandir, they didnot want to discuss even, but at last said our RAM is with us,none can take away our religion or RAM.
SO ITS A SURPRISE FOR BJP.

Dont' strain yourself, Verma. Simpler explanation: fraud
by flynn on May 19, 2009 12:18 PM  | Hide replies

Congress won because they rigged the voting machines, so they could claim Rahul achieved something here. Actually, people on the ground thought he had nothing to offer, but dutifully went to his meetings because they were paid.

The Congress never wins without fraud. What they did in UP was to rig the EVMs to make it appear as though Rahul had achieved something there because he showed up and said some idiotic things.

UPA did not win because it is the best but..
by LG on May 19, 2009 11:37 AM  | Hide replies

UPA won not because it is the best party or a secular party. I personally feel any party which is either pro Hindu or pro muslim can not or should not be called secular.
I am secular because I judge people based on their characters and integrity not on the basis of their religion, cast, or countries of origin--I do not like Sonia because I do not get the feeling that she loves India.

UPA won because of large population of illiterate in India who can easily be manipulated by cast, religion or dynasty factor.
Another reason was that they attacked Dr. Manmohan Singh who is a sincere and hard working. Although I also feel that he was and will be weak PM--a puppet should I say.
