Haha Can we assume the same tampering or counting of paper votes when NDA came to power? If you dont beleive in your country's judicial system please shut up. Let the BJP leaders come down to grass-root and work instead of flying in helicopters and making good statements which are just good to hear.'PM in Waiting' or 'India Shining' are good to listen for those in cities but go to the down earth where actual Indians live. You have to build confidence in people to get their verdicts just asking votes by keeping a face doesn't help.
By the way for your information the BJP government are the one who started fresh ties with the US when they were ruling. However they opposed the deal which was previously supported by them just for one reason they saw that the Government will fall and Mr. Advani will have a chance to be a PM 8 months earlier. In contrast the Congress went ahead with the deal without fear of getting out of Power for the sake of country's development.
For those who understood they got their leaders for next election and they showed. This means the people now understand. So leaders be careful even the Congressman be carefull dont get carried away with your win. Show us the development which you are promissing else wait and see the next election.

1. Opposing the nuclear deal conveyed a message to the masses that national interest was not the concern of the BJP.
2. Unlike the Congress which portrayed a future line of leadership, the BJP drew a blank.
3. While the Congress emphasised development, the BJP projected no issues of national importance.
4. While the Congress projected Sonia Gandhi as the brain behind the organisation, the BJP continued to project a clumsy individual in Rajnath Singh with a mindset of a bygone era, unwilling to change with the times.

These idiosyncrotic minds will remain minority for all their life. Why????Becoz they don't want to be considered as a majority in the country and project themselves as a people who will care abt country first and their fellow religious people after.Very sick minded people these people. There r many other religion in india too who haven't even uttered a word of claiming to be a minority so as to get extra benefits. For eg:Parsi people, still these people r the most fabulous people in india and an valuable assets for the country. But some religious or extremists always portrays/associates themselves with an religion tag and keep hanging with them ,no matter if they r literate or illiterate

Great guy Rahul

Rahul Gandhi is like a breath of fresh air in the dirt and slum of Indian politics. For the first time, I am hearing a leader who didnt use the words "secular" and "communal" in his speech today after the win. For the first time, we are hearing a leader who didnt abuse his opponents but rather expressed his respect for Advani. Hope he takes India forward!
In addition, he is the most good looking politician of the nation and we will be proud to have a PM like him rather than ppl like Deve Gowda, Gujral,Mayawati,Pawar etc.

I dont quite understand your point. If the country didnt doom in 55 years of Congress rule, how could it get destroyed in next 5 years? What is the reason for your such strong faith in BJP, a party which always speaks in double language, they neither openly supported Varun nor Ram temple. They thought of even appeasing Moslems by improving Indo-Pak relations and calling Jinnah baztard secular. Atleast Congress while befooling Moslems has successfully divided Moslems of India and Pak by screwing Indo-Pak relations.

this time, congress has just put the perfect example of how even after giving worse 5 yrs of govt. service,a party can come back to power,,,,there is no doubt that last 5 yrs of congress were the worst 1 has ever seen,,be it from commercial point of view as prices r alredy touching sky ,,,from security pointof view where terrorism has struck with ful force or minority appeaasement for vote banks,,,

BJP didint do well in most of the states,,but they stil got to the level where they were in 2004,,,BJP lost 0.7% of votes compared to last time, but the gain congress got ,is the one where left is lost,,,along with SP in UP ...

congress must consider itself lucky,as BJP coudnt come out with proper agendas (they had lot to raise but there electoral management lost it all)...now,congress is in power withj almost ful majority n with NO left NO sp in power,,they must avoid the politics of minority appeasement n work for development, as corruption wil always there,,so its all acepted...congress must understand ,this minority appeasement is the ony factor which is taking some part of non-muslim votebank away from it,,,,

If people opposed govt and its policies then congress would not have received the votes of SP or left, it would have gone to any other opposition party only.
Bytheway, why don;t you apply a thick coat of burnol to your private area?

A classic case of religion in politics!
by p on May 17, 2009 09:48 AM  | Hide replies

These People are in USA but don't forget they are muslims first. Indian next maybe. So they join an organization called muslims of america! They out with statements on India. They vote along the lines of religion and not along the lines of development. Congress is the most communal party. If some is really secular let these people come out and ask for equality for all irrespective of religion. For the knowledge of these communal people there is no organization called hindus of america.

"We must push for an egalitarian, inclusive and just polity in India that cares for the minorities and deprived segments of society"

why doesnt he ask his religion-mates to follow all this in Islamic countries?

maybe because he does not want to be labelled a kafir!!
