Those who are born in a Maharashtrian family are of course Marathi, but also those who are staying here for generations, respect the local culture and language of Maharashtra, irrespective of their caste, religion or State.

you are congested mind person who is still living in historyn please come to present and think about future
The enthusiastic response we got in recent election means Marathi people have recognized a threat to their exitence. We soon plan to lauch agitation through out Maharastra. "Maharastra only for marathis" will be our war cry now. If Kashmiris can have special status, if nitish can demand special status of bihar, and yet not be called communal. Then Raj Thackeray is also right. We Marathis want special status like Kashmir and Bihar. Non marathis don't belong to Maharastra, period. - Shri Dalvi (MNS supported and ideologue)

Mind the places like Bihar & Kashmir are not commercially exploited states.
If you think Maharashtra should be given special status then remove companies like IBM, WIPRO, Reliance n all outsiders brand to show your guts. I bet maharashtra will die and all your marathi manoos will come on the road.
Then I will agree to all your decisions. Just by making mockery in the name of religion what are you trying to prove and say???
This doesnt speaks good for an election candidate of a developed state.
Your ppl are making hole in the same vessel you r eating.
You can only win confidence of autorickshaws, dalits, beggers and such ppl... and one day they will only remove you... n you will remember my words...
The president of india should take steps to ban such candidates. (A bright nation supporter)

Abhishek chokhani, you need to seriously learn about how businesses get setup in particular geographical area. Skilled and efficient manpower, desciplined labor attract businesses. It's a win-win situation for big companies like IBM,WIpro,Reliance to setup business in mumbai/maharashtra...your statement doesn't make any sense....businesses don't get setup easily in the hooligan state like bihar, where every law is made to break...forget about setting up the business, even non biharis working in public sectors like Indian Oil can't sustain their lucrative executive jobs due to anarchy in the state….i know this much better than anyone else…..it’s not fault of Marathi people ,if biharis are misbehaving and not able to latch on employment opportunities in their own land….i know my good bihari friends who just don’t want to go to their state and enjoy maharashtrian hospitality. As far as your comment “making hole in the same vessel they eat” goes, I would like to tell you, 5% of population control bread and butter of 95% people. Remember without 95%, 5% can’t operate, it makes your phrase absurd. How autorickshaws, dalits, beggars remove us that I didn’t understand…LOL…..India is poor for ages and the idea of weakest elements in the society removing upper elements just makes me laugh…..if you feel that’s correct , then Ambanis,Tatas should be afraid of beggars…..LOL…Anyways those are our brothers and instea

…Anyways those are our brothers and instead of discriminating them we should try to uplift them…..that won’t ruin any society.. This non-marathi outburst was due for so many years……especially when native people are discriminated and ill-treated in their own land….go and check in other states and see how non-local are being treated before commenting…..no one is standing tall for marathis and even Marathi politicians don’t want to hurt any voter, to fill up their swiss accounts…..I wish I were in India to vote for MNS….I really appreciate Raj’s guts and wish him best luck…..only fear is he should not change his colors once he tastes the power.

Dear Marathaking,Let me clarify - when Nitish demands special status for Bihar - he can not be called communal because special status means exemption of income tax, excise duty, sales tax so that Industries may ne promoted there and investment from all over also comes there helping employment and overall growth. That is all. Such type of benefits have been given to Uttarakhand,Himachal Pradesh,Jammu&Kashmir. Our Maharastra state is already developed and is Financial Capital of this country.Every indian is proud of Mumbai and Maharastra.

Read Raj's MNS party manifesto on how he defines Marathis
"Those who are born in a Maharashtrian family are of course Marathi, but also those who are staying here for generations, respect the local culture and language of Maharashtra, irrespective of their caste, religion or State."
All migrants will have to assimilate with local language, culture. No calling regional leaders from any other part of India for vote bank politics.
The real way to handle the overcrowding problem in Mumbai is to hope that economic opporutnities are created in UP and Bihar so people do not have to migrate for livelihood. As for Raj Thackrey, there is no doubt he has played a spoilers role. Just like NCP and Congress instead of disagreements did align with each other, Raj should now align with Shiv Sena and BJP and do a seat sharing adjustment. Then to avoid conflict let Gopinath Munde be the CM. Personally I think if the Sena cannot get its act together, the BJP should leave them. They can now grow on their own in Maharastra. They do have a cadre and base to grow on.
