With his eyes set on the PM chair, Advani did all that which a mindful person won't do. Advani knew well that the stains of Babri Masjid demolition would affect his prospects as PM. The so-called Prime Ministerial candidate of the BJP went to Pakistan to call Jinnah a secular person. He thought he would be received among Muslims in India as a secular person but little did he know that Muslims have nothing to do with Jinnah now. In Guwahati, Advani went on record to say that he is secular because he studied in a Convent School. Ah... what a logic it is. He repeatedly called Manmohan a weak prime minister but he could not look back his own past which shows his own parties failure in averting the Kandahar plane hijack and attack on parliament. Actually his sole objective was to become a PM at least but he moved to achieve his objective without a mission and a vision.

BJP need to change... Convert...
BJP is the party of FEW Upper Class Hindus... (Guj Money lenders) (marwadi business men)
They ruled past generations considering themselfs are gods own men..
They made caste system and kept fellow hindus as slaves in their own country...
If they considered their fellow dalits as equal, NO British, NO Arabs, NO Pathans, NO French .... etc,,, would have entered our country.....
Come back as a natinal party acceptable to all cultures, languages and religious groups of India.. UNITY in DIVERSITY is INDIA... NORTH to SOUTH... EAST to WEST..
Still they dont let their daughters marry a Lower Class Hindu.. are they equal???
Conversion is like change votes from BJP to Congi or Congi to BJP.. Conversion of Mind is your own personal issue.

No doubt advaniji tried his level best to become PM,but hard luck.What I feel now if BJP want to come on power, it should draw a longtrem objectives and not short term objectives.Bjp must concentrate on states like Andhra/ up/orissa where their presence is negligible.Let us wait for atleast 10 years to be on the power, but build party at grass root level. Today peoples of AP/UP have no clear choice of national party alternatives in case if they want to change the rulers. In andhra peoples have to elect either congress or regional parties.In up there is complete mess, but positive sign has come that congress has improved their position. Bjp now should understand that this is 2009 and peoples prirorities have changed and like 1991 they cannot woo peoples on the name of religion. They should accept gracefully that ram temples cannot be build now and should focus on development and other more crucial issues.Unless BJP adopts all inclusive formula it is very difficult to gain power in coming years.But I feel from this election we are defenitely proceeding towards two party sysytem, maybe somewhere in 2020 we may have only bjp and congress. We do not require shivsena/ raj thackray/ sharad pawar/ lalu/ mulayam/ mayawati/ chandrababu/ chirinjevi. list is endless.

U do that but in the next time rahul will be PM candidate then u will get only 25(Gujrath). That also if modi get a chance. If they could remove some old cheap politicians, It is not much difficult to bring back karnataka to congress.

In any good democracy, the opposition is equally important. BJP would not have won this election, but definetly it was given a mandate to take care of peoples aspirations and ensure that the ruling party does not deviate from the people friendly policies. The BJP must be very vigil and ensure that the Government is under strict check. Together both ruling and opposition parites should take care to bring the Stability to the Nation and peace and prosperity to the people.
Now elections are over, there should not be any acrimony and no need to get in to the reasons for defeat etc. so long as you take care of people's interest, you have the chance to try in the next election.
