Now I understood poor history of my country and especially south asia. Here population is very diversive, oppertunistic and having no respect about their culture and parents.
You will find all type of khichdi culture here. some are following Middle East culture some are following imported but very cheaper US or European culture.
Here people are very selfish and greedy. They have forgotten the good deed of advaniji. they always like outsider popes cousing here who sold india from last 300 years.

advani gave the terrorist back to pakistan but your congress is bringing them. which one is better :)
A person who has great experience of Politics and has been a Home Minister in past, is not good for the top post. and One leader who is born in one family has the right of becoming PM. Great Democracy.

I hope, you have seen the bhajan songs of Cong leaders, every one is doing the aalap on rahul gandhi and they have already gone to the extent that they would commit suicide if he doesnt accept PM post

Thank you Advanji.Thank you very much. You have voiced the plight of so called majority communities. You have no media support, you have no vote bank, you didn't received any foreign money. You have been a champion of Hindu cause.Nobody loved us,nobody cared our support, nobody approached us for voting. If i say,"i am a Hindu",they call me communal. When my friend Ahamed tell "i am a Muslim",he is a secularist. In Mosque ,Ahamed would get instruction to whom he should vote. For me there is nobody to instruct.Even my Father doesn't instructed me.We,Hindus, are not united. You tried to unite us above caste, creed and region. For that you have your own way. Thank you Advaniji, you may not have a PM post or Opposition leader post but you have a permanent post in our Heart, the Heart of poor Hindus.
BJP should not make the mistake of making their oldies as opposition leader. They should now project experienced young people like Sushma Swaraj as opposition leader.
Re: Re: Sushma Swaraj as opposition leader
by honourindian on May 17, 2009 01:05 PM
you are talking nonsense priyanka. The cost of living has gone upwards. food prices never came down. This govt exported sugar only to realise later that there is shortage in india. All more important christians will get consessions to go jeruselum and minority appeasement starts. your children will got seats in premier institutes, its because of reservations will be introduced for minorities. think about long term and then applaud.
Re: Re: Re: Sushma Swaraj as opposition leader

The way the narrow mineded minorities going for Cong indicates that they will never get fed up with this vote bank politics
Re: Sushma Swaraj as opposition leader
by J Chandrasekhar on May 17, 2009 01:07 PM
Even Sushma is a oldie by the present standards. One who is born in Gandhi family only fits the top posts in this country. No problem, BJP has another gandhi

I agree with you, Shri Advani will be remembered for his firm ideas on secularism, corruption and also his contributions to the indian politics cannot be forgotten
I think, we missed a good opportunity of seeing this great leader as PM. I wish him all the best as the leader of Opposition party, which he should hold for more time
Re: Re: Advaniji the real hero

you are forgetting the fact that there are several states that are under BJP control. It is difficult to imaging indian politics without BJP

Congress has Dictatorial tendencies. Now that they have the majority, sooner or later these tendencies will come to the fore again like they did during the Emergency.
The moral of Advaniji's failure to realise his dream: ambitions can be bad for your spiritual health!Advaniji ought not to have cultivated the ambition to be the PM. Being a champion of Hindu culture Advaniji ought to have kept in mind what the Geeta says: "you have the right to work but not to the fruits of your work". In other words: work for the nation and party but do not expect the top job to be conferred on you. He ignored the wisdom of his religion's most Holy scripture! Now look at Dr.Manmohan Singh: no champion of Hindusim like Advaniji , but he is the only PM of India or any nation on earth who never had the ambition to be PM. He just worked for the party and nation without aiming at the "fruits" of political power. It was because Sonia Gandhi wanted a man if integrity as well as a man from a community who would redeem the party of the stigma of anti-sikh riots, that he became the PM, and because the people reposed faith in his party that he will be PM once again! Even if he did not become PM, he would have been content. What I say is idealistic I know but I have seen what happens to people with sky-high ambitions they cannot achieve. They become depressed and make those around them, their loved ones, also miserable. Both Advaniji and his entire family will be unhappy for a long time to come. Sad end for so talented a leader.

Rightly said, Just like the Holy Bhagavad Gita says - "your only duty is to work. Not to care about the results" - If you do your duty, the results will come. Somebody teach this to the champions of Hate Hindutava. They cannot understand this while an italian born catholic and a sikh have understood it perfectly

To avoid misunderstanding, I should add that I am not being sarcastic about my reference to the most important teaching of the the Geeta about not desiring the fruits of one's work: I take it seriously in my own life
Its sad day for Indian democracy that people like Advani are setting into oblivion.people who critice him are of MTV/BPO generation with lil understanding and knowledge of his contribution in the aftermath of Emergency and during his stint as IB minister.we have lost a fine orator a gentleman.Idont know who is capable enough to fit into his shoes or even come closer to his stature.Wish you all the best of health Sir.

Manmohan Team is the best team - avoids saffron pollution:
"Manmohan the intellect brand" sells among youth of India. Lallala kitna was mocking him like anything. NOw Lallala kitna dancing on disco floor to the song HAre Rama Hare Kitna. Divide and rule politics will never sell in India. THe government headed by Manmohan singh team consists of great intellects, thinkers and visionaries. This time we will see Shashi Tharoor heading Foreign ministry. I am eager to see his performance. I am sure he will be best External Affairs Minister ever. Chidu wil be FM and Pranab wil head Home. Kamala nath is commerce and Induasrty ... so we can expect some great names participating in governance. All the best UPA. India has recognized your strength. Manmohan Sigh truly is a greatest professional and administrator I have ever seen. Thank God. Everything happened for good to keep away saffron pollution.

This Election Proves a Old Saying,.... Hindustan mai ke dhonde to sau bevakuf milthe hai...
Search for one fool and you will find 100s of them..
i know many people here r shouting secular congress...secular congress and ridiculing BJP as communal...communal.........but remember 1 thing....1 day will come when there will be 40% muslims and 20% cristians and then hindus will be in the minority.... then i will ask you people that how r u feeling to be living in a secular nation and that time u people would be answerable. that time u will realise the importance of leaders like mr L K ADVANI and the services they have done 4 the country..... but by then it will be 2 late and u people will cry on the fate of this country..... REMEMBER MY WORDS....AND REMEMBER UR CHOICE.

I am a proud Hindu and I know more about Hinduism than the fundamentalist activists of the RSS, VHP etc. Unlike me most of these guys do not know a word of sanskrit. Having said this, my pride in my philosophical heritage does not translate into a hatred of minorities. In fact my confidence in the richness of Hindu thought frees me from any paranoia about minorities. Vinit, you have a great philosophical heritage. You dont need anti-muslim sentiment to make you a proud Hindu.
