the results shows that muslims and other backward castes are running away from all the small parties and they have only two option, either congress or bjp, bjp has got the hardliner like narendra modi whose image has spoiled the image of BJP, If BJP wants to rise as an alternative to congress, they should take the example of BSP and SP in UP where they never used religious lines for dividing the people, Modi campainged in 200 Loksabha seats out of which bjp only bagged 38, the percantage not reaching to 20 also, BJP is in need of introspection and should throw away the hardliners as early as possible to prepare themselves for 2014

And Rahul campainged for 106 seats and got 66 seats. The 38 seats you mentioned for BJP are including Gujarats 16. See the difference between Modi and Rahul. Modi has influence in Gujarat only. Rahul has presence all over. Secondly if Modi is made as PM candidate in 2014, than rest is sure that BJP will not garner even 80 seats.

The best way to win the election by BJP. First they break the ties from RSS and remove the modi, varun, thagodiya like minded persons.
i know many people here r shouting secular congress...secular congress and ridiculing BJP as communal...communal.........but remember 1 thing....1 day will come when there will be 40% muslims and 20% cristians and then hindus will be in the minority.... then i will ask you people that how r u feeling to be living in a secular nation and that time u people would be answerable. that time u will realise the importance of leaders like mr L K ADVANI and the services they have done 4 the country..... but by then it will be 2 late and u people will cry on the fate of this country..... What you say is right but LKA is too old to handle this.Some other veteran should take over and run the mill.Today's situation is different then yesteryears when ABV and LKA run the mill.

All evil designs backfired at BJP:
Women attacks which led parents to feel insecure to send their daughters outside home for the fear of unexpected attacks and also the evil wave traveled across India, Pub attacks, Church attacks, Mosque attacks, Arson, rapes, murders, violence everywhere, Kandhamal, Gujarath genocide, Varuns hate and division oriented speech, polarizing society in the name of culture and religion, hindu terror which killed innocent hindus, Mocking decent man like Manmohan ..... BJP has terribly lost to its own ploys of bringing bad name to others. It is a disaster for BJPeee. I am happy for the verdict. Indian people are mature enough to judge the parties.

And as far as the Kandhamal riots, Gujarat riots and Varun Gandhi are concerned, indeed the BJP seems to have been affected by these issues. But that in no way means that the Congress in snow white. One major factor in india is that we lack a neutral media. By and large the media is pro-Congress, this is not to say that the grapes are sour, but I am putting it as a fact. If a news channel or newspaper never questions that if the PM wants us to forgive and forget the Sikh riots, then why not Gujarat riots ? A congress leader too was found to be saying that voting for the BJP should be declared Kufr. How many times did tht news channel raise the issue of Madani, who was a conspirator in the Coimbatore blasts. The BJP's failings should be not be a justificitation for other parties' lack of character. In our democracy, we must establish accountability for every party. I think this time the electorate has done that to the BJP and the Left since they were shouting against the Congress and MMS. I hope that in the future we will be more transparent in our attitude towards the Congress, the Gandhis and the government as well, instead of only focusing on the BJP or the left.

Secondly, because the BJP mishandled certain issues it does not mean that the issues in themselves are wrong. People may not be satisfied with the BJP's stance on minorities or terrorism, but that in no way means that the issues of minority appeasement or terrorism do not affect the country. What we do in India is that once a political party wins, we imagine that the status quo is infact satisfactory. Barrack Obama criticized George Bush's handling of the Afghanistan war, but he has not acted as if the war in Afghanistan itself is wrong. Similarly, in India, the BJP is a political party and their rout is a political matter. However,for certain national issues such as terrorism, we must still have accountability from the government.

The converts are neither fish nor fowl. They have not become white-skinned Europeans or Americans by virtue of having some dirty water sprinkled over their head nor Arabs by virtue of having a small portion of a particular organ cut off. Total voter turnout in all constituencies in all states and in all phases is 50% among which the following people will only vote:
1.35-40% lower caste H1ndus(SC/ST/other tribals).
2.15% Musl1ms.
3.5% Xt1nas.
Since voter turn out is only 50%, They will represent 85% of total vote and obviously they are vote bank oif Con-gress :-)

Total 49% voter turn out. Out of which Congress got 28% only. i.e 14% of the total listed voters. There are many who do not bother to list their names. If there names are there then they will not bother to vote. Make voting Compulsory. If you dont like any candidate then tell poll officer.
