I think BJP has lost due to the following. 1.Projecting Adavani as leader and future PM 2. Not defending Kandhhar action with conviction. 3. Not able to offer alternative Economic policies. 4. Not able to project the threat of Terrorism sufficiently. 5. Talking of MMS as weak PM and AFZAL guru repeatedly. 6. Not able to crticize MMS statement of Muslims get first priority on national resour4ces sufficiently. 7. Trying to patch up parties whose support to BJP is always suspect( Like TMC,JDU etc). 8. BJP should have gone alone even if it means sitting opoosition. 9. Bringing Ram mandir issue uncessarily. 10. Infcat Adavni failed to attack the Congress failures and its communal casteist and Terrorist agenda. 11. BJP did not work for middle class votes.

"this govt. is of no use..." thats what mr. advani said in all crucial situations including terrorists attack/bombings instead of providing any alternatives and sympathies to those who were in shock

Truly said. There are many thing more.
1. Congress has successfully upheld that BJP is communal from the very beginning. They have succeeded in injecting insecurity among voters. We have about more than 200 constituencies where minorities have a major role to play as vote bank. They massively voted for Congress to oust BJP. On the other hand, a big volume of BJP’s voters didn’t exercise their voting rights.
2. The electronic and other communication media have played vital roles in making the Congress win.
3. All other parties except NDA tried to oust BJP from power at any cost. This is clear in the states like AP, TN, WB, Kerala, etc where BJP does not have a stronghold.
4. Considering the fact there are more than 140 seats in all these states and Congress and allies has managed more than 80% of these states. This came as the biggest difference in UPA and NDA seats.
5. BJP could not upheld much about the developmental process being done by them in states ruled by them to the country as a whole. The non-BJP states did not have much clue on it.
6. The number of states where NDA has stronghold is lower. If they want to come to power, they should expand their grip to other states also.

they lost because they did not do anything in the parl, and suddenly woke up to find PM weak, hindus in trouble (and hands of the trouble makers shud be cut), afzal guru not yet hanged, 50,000 crores of rupees missing, since independence no PM from maharashtra, what action Dr MMS has taken for the sikhs being ill treated at swat in paki, brown monies and swish accounts and all other issues. they had only discovered the above after the elections were announced, otherwise they wud have taken up the issues in parl.

These pseudo Secular UPA won and you are rejoicing and abusing the majority Hindus. Your dirty mind and dirty thinking has come out atlast. You are in a country with all the rights and you have got the right to abuse them to the core and still u have been left scot free. What is that path of truth, justice and light in UPA?
