Shyamal Pain
error in West Bengal result
by Shyamal Pain on May 17, 2009 05:23 AM

Your report says that CPIM led left front got 16 seats in West Bengal. In fact it is 15. The other one was won by SUCI which is a leftist party but it is an ally of Trinamool Congress. SUCI is opposed to CPI(M).

Lok Sabha Election -2009
by radhakrishnan on May 17, 2009 04:37 AM  | Hide replies

tIndian people has elected some good and some bad guys.Mr. Manmohan Singh is an honest man. He is an able economist. His contribution to Indian Economy is unquestionable. Though he did not stand in the election he is an undisputed leader of congress in his own right. No one can challenge him He has 200 congress MP to back him to give a stable and good administration Last time because he had to satisfy the greediness of all Tom and Dick and Harrys, his independence was curtailed and he had to function with certain limitation. This time he has more backing and hope to give a better performance. For this he has to take some hard decisions. If he miss this great opportunity, it is India's loss.We appeal him to be careful in selecting his team.
1.He has to exclude all tainted candidates (MPs) in the formation of his ministry to secure an honest administration
2.He has to exclude the likes of Lalu, Abu Soren, who are not trustworthy
3. We have seen a great deal of corruption in the allocation of Spectrum by the Communication Ministry.Mr. Singh could do pretty little to reign the culprits due to dependence on the party which threatened to pull out of the alliance if action was taken against their party's Ministers. Likewise in Sethu Samudrum Project there was pressure from the particular party which has a selfish interest.Hence Mr.Singh should be careful in dealing with this party. It is not enough this party is loyal to UPA, w but the question is whether it is honest.

Under Rajiv they had more than 400. Even then Bofors happened. MMS may command respect of people. But does he command loyalty of his own MPs. If yes his goodness will be of some use to us.

congress back in power
by chebolu sreepoornayya on May 17, 2009 02:35 AM  | Hide replies

Now it is the duty of congress to Indian public by acting properly,to work for the needs of people instead of filling their pockets, through welfare programs, proper education, not to have cast politics, remove the reservations for casts completely and help the people financially backward. Opposition parties are also to work for the above, by setting aside personal criticism.
As a whole all elected representatives should work together for the welfare of public and bring the nation as corruption free country in the globe. Every citizen should feel that the justice is being done to every one properly as much as possible, in coming days.

Elected representatives should prove the country is as safe as in the arms of ALMIGHTY (SUPER POWER). Where as if the Govt. do the same injustice with selfishness, the country will never develop.

Politics are to be played for actual/real development but not for their own usage.

The pre-election and the comments made by leaders/parties, before announcing the results does not create happy environment and good picture of the country either at the center or at state level.

In conclusion, let all public, elected representatives and Govt. take a oath to develop the country as a whole with in the resources available( which are plenty enough), than with any other country, by bringing the money deposited in other countries( UN accounted) to see the ACTUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY, FOR CLEAN and TRANSPARENT ADMINISTRATION as much aspossible, early

Lalu's future
by sumit jain on May 17, 2009 02:02 AM

Lalu should be removed from cabinet ministry. His party has been wiped of in bihar and he himself has lost at one of the constituency. There should not be any place for poor performers. It is a clear indication from the people that his days are over. His buffonery acts are not going to entertain anyone now.

The good part is that he need not be sacked because he does not hold any position (other than in his non-existent party :)
Additionally, the electorate has sacked anybody who acted smart.

Campaign for RE-Election with ballot paper, not rigged machines
by D S on May 17, 2009 12:41 AM  | Hide replies

Campaign for nation wide RE-Election with ballot paper.

WHy not go for PAPER ballot counted right before the candiates in their constituency.

Everything done right before the candiates and NO CHAWLA PEOPLE RIGGING election machines.

After crime and murder by money-greed mafia.

A New way to rule india by Forgery and Fraud by crime-murder-money mafia has emerged.

EVM rigged >otherwise, third front can still come to power

100% RIGGED,
It is congress and BJP nexus, otherwise, third front can still come to power with BJP support.

Advani jumped to congratulate MMS so BJP does not support Third front candiate in any way.

If Delhi has become center for mafia criminals from all over India then move Election Commission office to Andaman and Nicobar without Chawla types.

Election has got nothing to do with all this issues. Ist thing that mattered in last two election is BJP is the only party which sacrifice its ideology first for electoral and alliance gains
1) RAM Temple
2) Uniform civil code
3) Artical 370

On the other had Manmohan promise less but delivers that much. I like manmohan then these liers.

Now look at all other pary who lost
1) Jayalalitya : Trying to be oppurtunist whome to support last minute
2) TDP : Trying to show same oppurtunism
3) Lalu : Again same oppurtunism
4) Paswan : Again oppurtunism
5) Left : Very oppurtunist
6) Mayawati : Same oppurtunism
7) Mulayam: : Less oppurtunism, less loss

and BJP : Sacrified core issue, Major loss

Now all those who gained
1) Congress (All these are loosing, someone will gain Manmoohan honest to people and loyal to sonia gandhi(-ve point), but do what he commit to people in public.)
2) TMC - Loyal to UPA
3) DMK - Loyal to UPA
4) BJD - Loyal to what they have commited in orissa

So, in all it was wonderfull election where where all those who tried to be oppurtunist got wiped out and some has to gain out of it.

Now dont tell me BJP did not have 272 seats to get address all these issue. The point is if BJP could have told in last election that it last remaining six month of power that anyone(TDP,LALU..anyone) they will support as PM. If they agree to get his rule passed in both houses. But BJP can never take this extreme step because ideology is just to get v

In fact now people shall ask, if stock exchange, banks, railway reservation, Income tax return, Air Line booking and credit card can work online, WHY CAN'T WE VOTE BY INTERNET??? This will greatly reduce the expenses and increase the voting percentage!!

Hi Mohammed..it is nice to see that muslim brothers voted sensible and rejected the netas to just keep saying muslim..muslim..like Mayawati, Paswan, Lalu etc and in fact they have not done anything for the Muslims..It pays to align your goals with the bigger goals. Hope our country will go better and be more prosper..
