Chartered plane episode had saved hundreds of innocent lives. But some people wanted them to be killed. Just to show the saviours in bad light.

Waiting for another hijack so that he may be dropped off in chartered planes.
good to see 3rd n 4th front crash. good that paswan defeated, lallu ridiculed to merely 3 seats. mulla not managing to get past 22 in up; also left sunk in the bay of bengal.
1. Ram Temple It's issue for BJP or probably to very sentimental Hindus who see it as a sign of self-respect and few muslims who believe in converting India to Islam some good day( prabbably a bigger Afghanistan)
Otherwise, it's not an issue. I am more than 100% sure that both Ram and Muhammed might have taken stand to abanden their own home if it makes public happy. 2. Secularism It simply means just don't take a stand which appears biased. It has become a game in Indian politics. lalu is secular fielding Shahabuddin. Congress is secular even after 1984 and Bhagalpur but BJP was communal even before 2002. These all parties are more or less secular. If people do not give attention to their this word 'Secularism, they will leave it behind'in matter of months. Media has made secularism so popular and a topic which is debated everyday. 3. Uniform Civil Code I belive all educated people will like women to have at least one right. Right of choice and choice as citizens of secular India not as member of a religious group.Nobody is bothered if someone has long beared or is cleanshaven 4.Article370 I consider it as a protectionist measure to ensure Mu_slims remain a majority in Kashmir. Once economics causes boom in real estate, kashmiri builders will persuade local govt. to let them sell their property of highest bidder.Till Kashmir is like Afghanistan, nobody will waste their money there. 5.Corruption in Govt. Off- nobody talks

Election has got nothing to do with all this issues. Ist thing that mattered in last two election is BJP is the only party which sacrifice its ideology first for electoral and alliance gains 1) RAM Temple 2) Uniform civil code 3) Artical 370
On the other had Manmohan promise less but delivers that much. I like manmohan then these liers.
Now look at all other pary who lost 1) Jayalalitya : Trying to be oppurtunist whome to support last minute 2) TDP : Trying to show same oppurtunism 3) Lalu : Again same oppurtunism 4) Paswan : Again oppurtunism 5) Left : Very oppurtunist 6) Mayawati : Same oppurtunism 7) Mulayam: : Less oppurtunism, less loss
and BJP : Sacrified core issue, Major loss
Now all those who gained 1) Congress (All these are loosing, someone will gain Manmoohan honest to people and loyal to sonia gandhi(-ve point), but do what he commit to people in public.) 2) TMC - Loyal to UPA 3) DMK - Loyal to UPA 4) BJD - Loyal to what they have commited in orissa
So, in all it was wonderfull election where where all those who tried to be oppurtunist got wiped out and some has to gain out of it.

Now dont tell me BJP did not have 272 seats to get address all these issue. The point is if BJP could have told in last election that it last remaining six month of power that anyone(TDP,LALU..anyone) they will support as PM. If they agree to get his rule passed in both houses. But BJP can never take this extreme step because ideology is just to get votes, but the dilema is how to get vote without track-record of following ideology
One noteworthy result of the elections is that National Parties like INC, BJP are coming to the forefront. These fringe parties like BSP, SP, BJD, ABC, DEF, MNO, PQR etc etc are being dumped. It's a pleasure to note that Communists (traitors to this nation), Mayawati, and Jaya have been dumped in a pile. In Andhra and Kerala, the local parties have been dumped.... The nation SHOULD RALLY BEHIND NATIONAL PARTIES, so that we have strong party forming national policies, whether GOOD or BAD (people will decide it is good or bad), NOT MAKING DEALS with these useless small regional parties. IT BECOMES A NATION OF COMPROMISE instead of a NATION OF PRINCIPLES.
Though I support BJP, I am glad that these small parties LOST and a national party got the clear mandate from people.

Don't call BJD is a small party...FYI It has swipped the assempbly elections by winning 108 seats out of 147. Also won 14 LS seats out of 21. In Orissa, Congress is small party and corrupt party.
Re: Re: Happy to note NATIONAL PARTIES are becoming strong again

still bjd is a local party, even if it wins all 147 seats.

it is a great lesson to advani / modi / balthakre that indian electorate / people are not interested in their gimmicks in the name of religion / regional. they cannot fool the majority hindu electorate with their divisive and communal strategies. jai bharat jai unity in diversity. krishna rao, pp. from lawrence, kansas, usa (on visit)

i agree with your views, dirty politics like divide and rule and expecting positions in the name of religion will not work out always. Advani should realize.

No problem. He was never a serious contender. MMS was way better. Don't bother about BJP. Focus on crooked Congis tieing down MMS and hindering India's growth.

Brahmin Jaap Party has lost to aam admi party. So aam admi is happy now.
Re: Re: BJP Dogs have keep quite now. No Temple No Votes
by Rahul Punjabi on May 16, 2009 11:38 PM
ok. So your definition of aam aadmi is
He has to hate BJP and consider it as party of Brahmins(FYI... Modi, Rajnath, Venkaiah, Advani, Shivraj Singh, Sushma Swaraj, Lalji Tandon, Varun Gandhi, Jaswant Singh no one is brahmin) . Maximum Brahmin leaders are in Left and BSP then Congress has maximum brahmins historically... Shiela Diksit, Nehru/Gandhi family, Anand Sharma,Mani Shankar Ayyar, Pranab Mukherjee.
But my friend none of these parties is honest to plight of even brahmins including BJP .They pretend to be secular or so-called Hindu martyrs but they are not even transparent.
MM Singh may be good and definitely better than Advani but you can not expect too much from single person.
You will still need to pay bribe in any govt. office. Nothing is going to change. I can ensure you even if BJP would have come to power , nothing would have been different.
It's just matter of debate they are different else everyone is just interested in holding power and grabbing money.
But if congress's win makes you happy , there is no harm in staying happy

You 'aam admis' are peeing and shitting on the streets, spitting and blowing your noses in the publics, the gutter water mixes with rain water on the streets. There is trash everywhere, flies and mosquitoes abound.
GOOD JOB 'AAM ADMI', REMAIN 'AAM ADMI' FOREVER UNDER YOUR CORRUPT PARTY.....
MAY YOU AND YOUR GENERATIONS OF CHILDREN REMAIN ''''AAAAM'''''

I do not know what you have got against Brahmins. How is everyone aam aadmi except brahmins. Incidently the richest classes are not the brahmins in india but the kshatriyas, landlords and banias.

shut your bloody mouth . ok.
another 5 years of rule with no good for the aam aadmi (as you call it).
another 5 years of yes madam. what do i do madam? no madam. and what not...
above all kasav turning another afzal guru, closure of all cases against Mr. Q and a nuclear deal which would be implemented the real after effects of our dependence to US in this as well as foreign policy cannot be even imagined.

Dear Vishwanath, I am intelligent and considering all others are fools is not a good thing. Take the defeat in your stride. Winning and loosing always goes on. Who ever may come we will still remain aam adami who is more concerned about next days bread and butter and the future of his children. Dont worry brother its ok. Let's see how they are doing this time if they dont do well, then the citizens of this country will definetly bring BJP to power. Public is not that fool so chill.

Return to 4% growth is only if the electorate was dumb enough to vote BJP!
