Time to reward Somnath Chatterjee...
by Sundaram on May 17, 2009 09:23 AM

Somnath Chatterjee has been an outstanding parliamentarian for nearly 4 decades and an equally non-partisan and successful speaker of the Lok Sabha. What better tribute can a grate-ful nation give him than offering him the Presidency of India after the present incum-bent completes her term. In a world of deceit and utter selfishness, it is time, we rewarded the true selfless Indians. I know, most people still want him back as a Speaker.

Why BJP lost?
by Suraj on May 17, 2009 09:23 AM  | Hide replies

It was BJP vs Congress Media(which is enitrely controlled by Xians)

Can you imagine a Xian or a Mohamdian working for a hindu news paper/TV channel and writing against a prty of their people?

But our Jaichands do it for a few bucks and we have not learnt from history.

Very correct! and BJP was keeping its eyes closed when every thing was happening under its nose.
See the example of Jaya TV and SUN Tv in TN. Both shows exactly contrasting news on a same topic. This shows how a news can be presented with deffrent meanings.
Wake up BJP!

Congress has ruled India for 50 years and India remained a third world poor country. During NDA regime for 5 years the economic performance started an upswing with highest foreign reserves ever. It is strange that people are again voting for Congress while the prices have become sky high, there are job losses, 6000 people died in bomb blasts during last five year and I am still wondering what was the performance of the Congress in the last 5 years that people are so happy. Indians are a doomed lot and will continue to live slaves life, which they deserve.

BJP should start doing good in basics...lot of people have felt what BJP does is not all good....i would raken that at least now they should thnk of young blood in the party with clear vision....BJP as such wants to do good but issue such as the mangalore, or valnetines day will put the party in bad group....thye should instead focus on issues such as poverty and developments rather than only caste based poliics...having said thsi i am a BJP supporter but deeply feel that UPA is much capable with able leaders to lead this country in to better tomorrow. It would be better if UPA puts in more effeort to speed up India's growth. I dont see big achivements in UPA's past 5 yrs rule however thsi time around withcomplete majority i hope development would rather be faster and more effectve.

Its good for congress. Now they do not have to share the loot from various Indira or nehru or rajeev vikas yojanas. All the proceed from the loot can directly go to the dynasty and their slave chamchas. The actuial problem is the third front all the votes from third front supportes went to congress. Now congress has the mandate to implement their policy that nations resources belong first to muslims.

Why Con-gress always wins elections, The formula is very simple, Normally in Lok sabha polls only 50-60% voting takes place in all constituencies, in all states and in all phases, In this elections only 50% voting has taken place among which the following people vote:

1.30-35% Lower caste H1ndus(SC/ST/BC).

2.15% Musl1ms.

3.5% Xt1ans.

Now together they form 50%^ of voters but when voting is only 50% then their vote share is 85-90% which is nothing but vote bank of Con-gress, Even if the votes get spilt Con-gress still gets 45% of vote share which is enough to win elections.

In short 50% of H1ndus dont vote at all and they are mostly:

1.Upper caste H1ndus.

2.Middle class H1ndus.

3.Upper middle class H1ndus :-)

:-)

6 months back BJP used the terrorism plank for the assembly elections in 4 states. Later it realised that this wont work at all as Delhi which bore the brunt voted for congress again.

The same happened here.

ps: this is the reason why BJP did not use the terrorism issue.

read election result carefully
by Danendra Jain on May 17, 2009 09:01 AM  | Hide replies

Result of General Election has proved to be a disaster for BJP and more particularly for Mr. L K Advani whose aspiration for becoming PM of the country could not be fulfilled. Undoubtedly it is Mr. Advani whose effort took BJP to such a height and it is also a true that due to his effort only Mr. Vajpayee could become PM for three terms. What I have found is that there is not much fall from the past record of BJP. But there is still sharp fall from the projected or expected level of BJP and even its rivals. Expected gain over past results did not come about despite hectic tour made by Narendra Modi and Mr. L K Advani.. BJP lost some seat even in Gujarat, Rajasthan. Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi which is more painful and very much disheartening for BJP. It is also a fact that its grip in many states have gone up. New states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam and Karnataka have now been added to BJP’s stronghold areas. Performance of BJP in UP is also not bad compared to past record. No individual can be blamed for poor performance of BJP when we see the tally of BJP at a glance. However BJP needs to introspect to assess and ascertain where it has committed mistake.

It appears voters have punished those state governments which did not perform well. Left parties lost the ground in West Bengal and Kerala but the same Left front retained its position in Tripura where they performed and satisfied resident of Tripura state. In the sam

I am ashamed to born in a country where:

1. people vote for a party that is responsible for all ills in the country.

2. people vote for a party that is responsible for super high prices of food, clothing and shelter even in times of recession.

3.people vote for a party that that is responsible for crores of job losses.

4.people vote for a party that conveniently insults and harm hindus while even afraid of hanging afzal guru.

5.Ashamed to be a born as a hindu ,worst spineless religion in the world that likes to be kicked and abused in every possible ways but will vote for congress even in case of worst governance record.

Now i know the reason why our country was slave for 1000 years and sure that it will continue to be so as they like to live in grief.

If there are evils in a country, the true and patriotic citizens stay back to fight.
But frauds like Moin Pasha will suggest fleeing to other countries.
See the true nature of Congis.
They will thrive in India as long as they get a chance to LOOT India.
When they are thwarted, they will think about taking citizenship of other countries.
Congi chamchas and bootlickers are the scourge of India.
They have CORRUPTION a common trait in India.
Whip the Congi sycophants.
Stay vigilant for the next 5 years.
Counter their LOOT INDIA programme, hiding behind the respectable face of MMS.

I agree, and surely it is on our blood to be enslaved. We were divided into multiple states before british came and use devide & rule. same way today election were fought not at national level and cong. used devide & rule.
Indians wants short cuts & goodies. Example:
1) instead of investing in agricultural technical revolution, MMS has waived the loans of 65000 cr. of farmers.
2) in the name of NRES , one guy dig hole, get 20 rs out of 100Rs( 80 rs in congress contractor); another day another guy fill that pit & get its 20 Rs , and we have progress.

I wish not be be born in this country where middle class voting for congress (most selfish people -cynical people, )

You are stupid to say that. It's a wonderful boon to be born in INDIA and known to the world as ancient country of selfishless, peace.
It's unfortunate your thinking is so radical to be born as HINDU. In India any relgion is good with exceptions of some foreign influence (show me one country which does not have these risks).
