This is how MNS defines Marathis in its manifesto
by goldtiger on May 17, 2009 07:00 AM  | Hide replies

"Those who are born in a Maharashtrian family are of course Marathi, but also those who are
staying here for generations, respect the local culture and language of Maharashtra,
irrespective of their caste, religion or State."

This party truely understands the federal concept of India, while is inclusive and nationalistic at the same time.

This party is about local infrastructure, jobs for locals and better local living conditions in other words bijli, sadak, pani issues.

BJP-SS ate up MNS votes
by goldtiger on May 17, 2009 06:35 AM

Had the BJP SS party not contested, MNS would have won 3 seats.

Serves BJP-SS right for ignoring the Marathi Manoos in Mumbai

shiv sena vs mns
by BhejaFry on May 16, 2009 11:36 PM

MNS has eaten substantially into sena's marathi vote bank in urban areas, thereby enabling cong-ncp to romp home.
MNS will face a backlash for this.marathi people will wake up tommorow and it will dawn on them that what MNS acheied was contradictory towhat they wanted
the 'unintended consequences' of MNS have put mumbai-thane at risk .hopefully they will not commit the folly in assembly elctions.

shiv sena on the other hand has done well in rural maharashtra.it has won 11 seats as against 12 last time.in rural aras its emerged as a real alternative to congress-ncp.

thats exactly what we need to do... that episode was a shame for bombay. the sooner we forget the ppl like Ra-j the better for bombays progress. otherwise, very soon gujurat cities will take over bombay as financial capital. nothings impossible

anyway Bombay is what it was thanks to Gujratis, Parsis and Sindhis...even till today 70% of students who study in Bombay study in colleges funded by these trusts...amongst other things. The real bombay residents...the kolis...and christian kolis (east indians) are anyway not a part of SS or MNS

no worries. man we have the best software professionals in india who can secure these. it would actually help indian IT companies who are goin through recession.
aleast the registration of names in ballot should be made electronic. that would be fully secure and transperent
