Absolutely. The victory of Congress is attributed to Biryani to Kasab and Mughlai for Afzal Guru and a crushing blow to the securitymen who lost their life fighting terrorists.

Afzal Guru should thank Narendra Modi for these results. The root cause of BJP's flop show.

UPA - SUCCESS
by Water on May 16, 2009 12:43 PM  | Hide replies

This is a clear message to BJP and its leaders that most Indians are secular and they are not interested in BJP's hinduvata card or false promises of Ram mandir, they just want the development of this country and like to leave in peace. This is a good message to BJP and their master in Saffron brigade that India is one country and people are one no one can devide them in the name of religion for the sake of votes.

Water seems to be a M* and Rosa of course a C*. So, you guys will always vote for C0ngress because of your anti-H1ndu sentiment taught to you by your Rel1gious leaders.

Today its a victory of Anti-H1ndu forces because of divided H1indus because of divisive Congress in the country. But always remember, H1indus have the ability to bounce back and they will teach a lesson to the divisive forces like Comgress who have won the elections on the basis of protecting anti-national elements.

This is possible only when Brahmans give up Priestlyhood and bring in Dalits to perform Pooja at temples. Are you willing to accept that?

BJP'S SOLE BLUNDER
by kedem kemorah on May 16, 2009 12:34 PM  | Hide replies

BJP's sole blunder which was blown out of proportion by the Congress's media support was the statement that "Manmohan Singh is a weak Prime Minister" which got him the sympathy of the voters as he was viewed as the underdog.

Re: BJP'S SOLE BLUNDER

This is not the reason. The reason for Congress have increased its seats is due to massive Mosl1m votes due to protecting Afzal Guru and Kasab, mass migrations from Bangladesh, particularly Delhi is full of Bangladeshi immigrants now everywhere with illegally encroached on the roadside slums everyone with a Voters ID.

But it is not a victory, they have only 194 seats, 78 less than the magic figure 271. So, they will be dependent on many other volatile parties.

Manmohan is a weak PM and will continue to be. Whether BJP says it or not. Have a look at recent comments in an interview:

1. I am a messenger of Sonia Gandhi.
2. Quattaroci is being unnenecessarily being harassed, he is a gentleman and harrasing him is bringing bad name to India.

This is the victory of Secularism over communalism of BJP. People of India have replied efficiently to BJP that he should stop befooling the Indian by raising the issues like Ram-mandir & Hindutva etc..

No, this is the victory of Pseudo seculariams (Hindu bashing and minor1ty appeasement). While Hindus did not bother to vote in the summer, Minority voted en block for Congress.

Since 1952, elections in summer(May/June) have always seen Congress performing much better than expected. Thats why Lyngdoh moved 2004 elections from Feb to May.
