BJP West Delhi loss
by prabhanjan on May 16, 2009 12:27 PM  | Hide replies

I am an educated voter and a salaried professional. I went to the polling booth on 7th only to be mocked at by the BJP polling booth assistance desk ( can we call them as one ?), "arey aap kaun sahib dikh rahen ? aapko tho hum aaj hi dekh rahen hein.....etc..." ( i have been living here for 4 years now !!!). There were postures which any decent citizen would get offended with which were complimentary for the voter slip i got from them. My question to BJP is "your claim has always been that your traditional voters have been Urban professionals. By this way of treatment when you are not in power either in state or centre, is an enough indication what is going to come if people come to power.
Please tell me one thing. when will BJP learn to have a cadre that does not insult, and harass some gentlemen in the society for no fault of theirs. At heart I still respect some values of BJP and want to vote. But your people scare away a Baby. How will you expect the baby to love you?. I think progress of this country is more important than my feel good factor. So I voted for Congress this time. Next time please take care because Decisions are made any point of time before the button is pressed on EVM.

You are a Congress supporter, that why uttering something which has no evidence.

As a salaried person, you should be ashamed to support Congress which is anti middle/salaried class.

They damn care for middle/salaried class. The problem with middle/salaried class is that they do not vote. They pay the taxes and enjoy a holiday. But they do not learn from mistake, yet complain.

Dear all,
I appreciate all of you have your own viewpoints. But can you please consider this ?
1. By making a statement about what actually happened, I think I have helped concerned people to correct mistakes. If anything, you should thank me and not blame me for this.
2. What will I achieve by writing something which has not happened?
3. I am a middle class. I am proud to be a tax payer. I do enjoy my holiday if there is one ( nothing wrong about it. But all important, I do vote regularly.
4. I do not complain . I try to send message. I have not abused or criticised any policy. I have just said that parties need to take care that the voter is not offended.
5. Middle class/Salaried class people are most dangerous because they do not complain. They take the treatment and voice their opinion silently. They do not belong to any party and do not have compulsions to vote for anybody.
6. Do not show the old time tested and defeated approach of inability to accept the fact. This is the fact. Take it or leave it.
7. If you accept your shortcomings, it will help you to correct and get back to the stage. You do mistake and blame eveerybody for being a congress supporter. Then he gets distanced by you. No wonder if he starts supporting congress even if he does not want to.

HERE, THE QUESTION WAS NOT AT ALL WHETHER CONGRESS IS GOOD OR BAD. THE QUESTION IS HOW GOOD WAS ONE'S BEHAVIOUR.
UNDERSTAND...MY FRIENDS....?

Advani is a Politician; MMS is a Statesman.

"A POLITICIAN thinks of the next election; a STATESMAN of the next generation." -- Unknown

* Advani has FAILED to answer MMS's simple question till date.
* What did Advani accomplish for India? (covertly demolishing BABRI MASJID?)
* MMS personal contribution to India is inking NUCLEAR DEAL with Nuclear Suppliers Group.
* And MMS defied Communists to get the deal ratified in the Parliament.

haha..Razia He thinks we Hindus will appreciate his demolition of Masjid. He just forgot that we true Hindus consider Mandir and Masjid as place for one God. We will never forgive nor forget his actions. If BJP puts Modi as PM candidate for 2014, it will be the end of that COMMUNAL PARTY.

Indian voters
by Water on May 16, 2009 12:13 PM

This is a clear message to BJP and its leaders that most Indian people are secular and they are not interested in BJP's hinduvata card or false promises of Ram mandir, they just want the development of this country and like to leave in peace. This is a good message to BJP and their master of RSS or Saffron brigade that India is one and their people are one no one can devide them in the name of religion.

Democracy won
by Raj Adhikari on May 16, 2009 12:07 PM

No matter which party is winning, the ultimate winner is our democratic system. That is what keeps India above all these dictator and communist countries. Congress and BJP have same policies so it does not matter who is at the helm. Dr. Singh is the best leader to lead us during this global turmoil and Indians have said it loudly and clearly.

Plea to Congress/Secular party Pls do not divide nation further
by Balaraman on May 16, 2009 11:54 AM

On religion language north-south basis
Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.
