BJP and its supporters like YOUU were behaving like the gods have given you the powers to defend Hindus..
This was similar to many centuries the upper class kept as slaves their fellow Dalit Hindus as if they were the gods own selected people.. made laws as they wish with out any consideration of human beeing..
Today the face of BJP has fallen the upper class has to come back with more developmental plans and not pictures of Gods and creation of temples and musjids..

u dont talk about south got it... BJP already started making groups like pink chadi if you want u can even start one more dark pink chadi group in north one ok
For over five thousand years, Bharat, Hindustan, India, call her what you may has been secular. Our kings, emperors, noblemen, sadhus, thinkers have always supported divergence of thought. Ashoka spread Buddhism. Akbar, a muslim ruler, respected Hindus, married a Hindu woman and agreed to respect her religion after marraige! The MNS & SRS have forgotten, that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj reminded the whole world once again, that a defeated enemy, is to be treated with dignity, he insisted that the women and children of the vanquished be treated with kindness and respect and unnecessary killing of enemy soldiers be avoided. Ramakrishna Parmahansa said, all paths lead to the almighty.
I think the terrorists (who, I can foresee from the state of affairs across the border, will be destroyed shortly now) attack pur people, the body of India.
The communalists on the other hand attack the very idea of India.
The people of India, the inheritors and custodians of this five thousand year legacy have spoken today.

secularism was definitely there, but there was no self-respect,strenghth or nationalism. That's why our country got raped again and again by invaders.. and it still continues..
Not suggesting that you elect Hindutva or anything, but it is the reality. There should be a check to UPA's minority appeasement and anti-Hindu policies.
Despite all pre poll survey's Cpngress emerged as an single largest party and UPA vise versa. The congress itself taken to big surprise after the results. But I doubt the outcome of this election as nobody believed that Congress will emerge as an ruling party, there is an evedient that congress itself gone to an extent to woo the supports of Nitesh Kumar, Jayalalithaa, Patnaik, Left during the course of final phase of this elections.
Why nobody predicted the outcome either by the large pool of electronic media's surveys, the congress itself, the oppositation, left and all regional parties..Congress as done nothing great to take this huge victory to their side..This fules my doubt about the entire episode..

Problem in BJP has done nothing dent the support base of Congress!!! Btw whatever prepoll surveys I have seen all seemed to predict an edge for UPA....

Bharat Jalao Party has finally met the fate it deserved. I am glad I would not be hearing irritating voice of Advani in future..
Actually BJP is fighting against many rivals. Political rivals and pseudo secular media rivals that are paid by Chuurches. That media makes or breaks image of all congress oppositions. See the laugh and happy faces of Rajdeep, Sagarika,Barakha while repeating congress victory and defeat of BJP,Lalu,Jaylalita. This help of paid media has been helping congress to win. This media never cross questions Antonia Maino and her puppets the reality of her mesterious life, education and relations with quatrochi. Never asks congress leaders whether they fulfilled thier assurances given before last poles.
Re: Important rival of BJP is media

and you think millions of Indians cast their votes based on what some news channels report. Come on kid grow up. This is a clear and decisive mandate by the people for a secular and stable government. Do not belittle it by giving undue credit to the media.

secular in INDIA is defined as- you have to be hindu bashing you have to support human rights of terrorist not their victim you have to support separate law for one community while rest of the country follow one you have to give subsidy to particular community for religious, even if thousands die of hunger

Re: Will Modi go to gallows?
by sunil agarwal on May 17, 2009 01:24 AM
First let Afzal Guru go to the gallows and than Kasab. After that the people who burnt the train at Godhra. Than let all Indians who resides in Pakistan/Afghanistan start paying Jizya Tax. After that the courts will decide about Modi. BTW how come Marx can be Capitalist. Get your head checked first or else the communists will take care of you.
people writing in rediff may be dying for BJP, but vote in India is determined by people who don't know how to read and write or max have some rudimentary capability and they don't care much about BJP's rhetoric of mandir, muslim and Indian culture BJP will never win until they realize that a sizeable portion of Indian voters are Muslim and Christian, whom they just scare away. Next you cannot project an 80 years old person as your PM/Leader in a country of youths. Also mandir etc can boil some blood, but doesn't have much value for general votes. Also RSS etc's lecture and application of Indian/Hindu culture only creates a feeling of fear and rejection. BJP needs to grow up, come out of 50's mentality if they really want to be in power and they need young, level headed leaders and religion neutral politics for that.

by Rajesh zha on May 17, 2009 01:03 AM
That fear is created by congress paid pseudo secular media. why media don't project thousands of service projects run by RSS? If you visit just one project being run by RSS, you will definitely change your opinion about RSS.

by Kasyap Kasyap on May 17, 2009 01:13 AM
RSS has done and is doing some great social service job for sure for a long time, its great if they keep it confined there rather than try to impose their views on how people should live their life. BJP also never could accept RSS properly, its always half way, half way, so its a confusion, if they will follow RSS or not
Re: BJP future
by marxcapitalist on May 17, 2009 01:03 AM
so those who dont know how to read and write have voted for congress. As a result the urban middle class dominated Delhi has 7/7 and Mumbai 6/6.A complete sweep in favour of congress.Myfoot
Re: Re: BJP future
by Kasyap Kasyap on May 17, 2009 01:10 AM
sure, didn't mean that. What I meant is that by an large Indian vote is determined by people who don't blog in rediff about how great BJP is.
