by true tamilan on May 16, 2009 09:55 AM

Stupid left supported congress to keep bjp out. People in Kerala and WB were thinking left is alternative to congress. Now left is no more.

All the left seats went to upa they held on to their seats and gained in rajastan and UP.

Chrostians won

Election swing to Congress indicates HEAVY RIGGING
by D S on May 16, 2009 09:11 AM  | Hide replies

Election swing to Congress and BJP indicates HEAVY-HEAVY RIGGING done to electronic machines.

Thus, Election count should be paper and should be done in the Election contituency to avoid rigging by CHAWLA types

Hypothetical but Why Should not we give it a Try?
by Lalatendu Deo on May 16, 2009 08:34 AM

The whole bunch of experts sitting out there are telling us of all those hypothetical things which they and we know, would not be the case, not even 0.0000001%, tomorrow morning. It is just not possible to predict an Indian election. Those prospective permutations and combinations are of no value at all as none of these is going to happen actually.

Taking a clue from my so called Experts and Pepsologist friends, I am getting tempted to try a bit in my hypothetical proposition, knowing fully well that the chances of its heppening is about 0.0000001%; same as that of any one else.

I am hoping to have BJP and CONGRESS to come together to form the most stable government of all times.

Money, Maoka, Ministry berth and Mayhem
by Mrinal Dasgupta on May 16, 2009 06:46 AM

It's Party time. The smaller parties are having a fine time. They wd enjoy both invitations and strange guests who they may not have met for ages or have exchanged merely abuses.
Money wd play an important role for individuals and nano parties, who want only money, muscle power and may create mayhem at the right time and with opportunity. But this time they are likely to get the least encouragement at the moment. They may become important at the last lap of government formation.
State demands are getting important because this is the MAOKA. This is the time to get written agreements made in public. Instead of settling on special status for states like Bihar, they should settle for special status for regions based on regional disparity and (under)development index - which shall integrate indexes like HDI, Poverty and lack of employment, food, shelter, health, education, communication, etc. A national set-up may propose how it wd be done.
Money-seekers will also seek ministry berths, which go aplenty at the moment. But that does not mean much unless the coalition/formation secures the threshold number of heads, which has to be close to 272, the critical number.
The Left parties have identified the threshold value at 200.
A game that looks fastest and most sweating at the INC and BJP headquarters is taking the wind out of the sails of the 3rd and 4th fronts from behind, and weaken their bargaining power.
Therefore, let's watch how much the two shed off their worst items on the

if priyanka and rahul hadnt turned to jesus, they wud hv been mullis at best...that would hv been worst i guess.

btw, most of the terrorist attacks happened in congress ruled states..so much for their secular ideologies. have we ever wondered why none of the non-congress ruled states like UP or bihar are relatively safe from terror attacks despite them being majorly mulsim dominated states.

it appears that bjp is not aggressive in marketing itself. if congi can get away by saying that bjp is communal, why doesnt bjp bring the true face of congi in front of public? how come all the terrorist attacks happen in cong led states. on top of it, the shameless congi commies hv acquited the accused in mumbai train blast case..who will bring these things into light infront of common man? bjp, wake up...

tu kandhar bhool gaya, parliament attack bhool gaya, kargil bhool gaya.. i m not saying cong is all clean but dont look into narrow poltics being cong or bjp.. look into over all national issues and look for a majority holding national govt. then u can think about hindu and muslim.. ppl like u dont hv clear ideology so they can not vote with their own thinking and let small parties take advantage of it.
