What shouldnt take more than four hours after the counting of votes has been allowed to take 72-80 hours of silly formalities ..... needless waste of precious time but a tailor made bonus to the shady horse traders .

yeah, to give enuf time to congi to buy votes for cash...what else do we expect from a congi president?

the practice of post poll alliance is totally a malpractice and EC should ban this? this is the biggest mockery of democracy. the public gives it verdict by not electing the congi commies, but still their govt comes to power by seat sharing and post poll alliance with parties whose candidates were probably mainly voted for to keep the congi out of power. is this how the EC is honoring the public verdict? the worst democracy in the world!!

when u guys dont know much about ur own constituent and law then should not boast and speak here. if after poll alliance wont happen then no govt will form and crores of rupees will again wasted in polls. prey for a stable govt whether its cong or bjp. u ppl keep cursing cong but u guy forgot what happened in Tehelaka, what traitor george fernandes did to indian navy chief vishnu bhagawat. the selfish and tempting regional parties are more worst than congress. its a mud game, all are selfish, greedy and opportunistic. Cong has to play game to keep BJP out and BJP has to do same to keep Cong out. if u think any party is better that you are a fool. Ig BJP comes , after 5 yr u will curse BJP too as in this big country some section is with cong and some with BJP, that is why BJP lost and that is why election happens so better u keep ur mouth shut and look into results as you are not the only who voted, 31 crore ppl voted and we have to see the over all madate..

dont expect this from congis..they will most do terror attacks and acquit all the accused. that is all we can expect from them

btw, it doesnt appear that the common public has concerns regarding price rise, jobs etc..but none of the election issues revolved around these. and still the public has voted for parties which did not promise anything related to curbing inflation etc. so these problems dont appear to bother the common man at all

Advani Retires without being PM
by Reform on May 15, 2009 11:53 PM  | Hide replies

Sunday TOI will say the following

The old man Advani declared that his chances become the PM is not there for next 10 years, so he do not want to act like a moderate face for 10 more years. Hence he declares that he retires from politics without fulfilling his dream of becoming the PM of India at least to make Jinnah soul happy.

PPL WOULD LIKE CONGRESS NOT TO COME BACK IN GOVT. THIS IS THE LEAST CONGRESS CAN DO AFTER HAVING MADE PPL'S LIVES MISERABLE AND INSECURE AND LOOTING AND DIVIDING THEM.

Hold your purses. Protect your valuables. Maya memsaab is coming.
by ShivajiRao Gaekwad on May 15, 2009 11:16 PM

Hold your purses. Protect your valuables. Maya memsaab is coming. Even in her statue she is seen holding her purse, which is dearer to her than the progress of the nation. "Desh jaaye bhaard mein" she appears to say, first apni jeb aur tijori bharo. Tomorrow she will be made PM. Bad times for India. The poor will slide deeper below the poverty line. The rich will hate the country more. And the west will sell more of their trash to our nation. Congratulations.

We have already lived the biggest danger to India for 60 years under the sickular CongI. The country has not progressed to it's potential, because of CongI's divisive, minority appeasing, vote-bank politics, which has divided country on the cast and religion.

ANY IDEA WHO HAS GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION
by Balaraman on May 15, 2009 09:23 PM  | Hide replies

After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Nagaland and NE states are not demanding separate state on the religious basis. That is a false comparison. Most NE states parts were never really a part of India, and their demand is based upon that. Religion has nothing to do with it. Even before being christians, they were not hindus. So, please stop saying utter nonsense and give false information to people.
Moreover, now you say tribal people getting rebellious. What the state has done to uplift their status? With time they got education and began to understand the mindset of the state and their anger shown as a rebellion. Can anyone blame the religion for that. I am not supporting Christians either, they gave these education, religion to fulfill their christian need, not for their upliftment. Can anyone give importance to their needs and demands, instead of bringing religion amongst these. Christians did a mistake first and now the hindus are repeating that.
I want to ask everyone, does religion give us food, shelter or clothes? So, why worry over such a petty personal issue like religion? We should all concentrate on the betterment of this country. No single religion can do it. Only the religion of Indianness can do that. So, please guys stop believing whatever our foul leaders say us, religion is just an issue of election. Even the parties going gang-ho over religion do not care a damn about religion once it comes to power.
Meanwhile we are fooled to believe religion is everything...
PITY...

Agree with politicians using religion or anything else for that matter for votes.
But what do you do after food, shelter or clothes? The identity of an individual or society is equally important. For over 60 years the sickular party like CongI ruled and promised food, shelter, clothes and it's still not there for majority of Indians.
If religion is not important to you why don't you try and live few years in a Islamic country and see why religion is important.

yes but religion does come after basic needs like food, clothing, shelter. but the comie cong claims to be just pseudo secular without doing anything in terms of basic needs. on top of it, look at positive inflation even in these times of recession. this happens only with congi
