ANY IDEA WHO HAS GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION
by balaji on May 15, 2009 11:08 PM

After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Sham Democracy
by Vivek Heg on May 15, 2009 09:32 PM

India is worse than dictatorship to have elected same congress party for 50 years with increasing poverty, corruption, violence and begging. Any vibrant democracy means multiparty system coming to power. Indians should be ignorant bunch to elect same party over and over again. What is the point of having opposition party at all? lets make Rahul the King and his children continue the tradition until India as a nation ceases to exist. Look at 30 years of communist rule has done to Waste Bengal. Any sensible Indian would have said enough after their 2 terms. India you deserve to be another Afghanistan... ignorant, savage civilization.

Jayalalitha's options
by SS Kumar on May 15, 2009 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

a) If Third Front comes to power, she can
remain with them as a big fish in a small
pond. She can eve be the PM but for how long
is the question as the Left has no adminis-
trative experience in running a coalition
govt at the Centre. It is easier to play a
spoilsport role in UPA.
b) Join NDA and bargain for removal of DMK in
Tamilnadu. NDA will readily oblige.
c) Ditto with UPA. Culturally, she has more in
common with the brainier elements in Cong-
ress. With ministerial berths at Centre, she
can & will ensure removal of DMK and remov-
al of all legal cases against her.

If she does extremely well in TN, DMK automat-ically goes home.

Its time BJP owns a TV channel else they will be buried silently
by Balaraman on May 15, 2009 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

You can also do one thing. Collect all the BJP supporters and send them to kalapani if you can. Brainless zombie, BJP has more supporters around the world than you can imagine. There can be a defeat but no 'humiliating defeat'.

ramesh iyer, it is the Congis who are frustrated. During last election BJP got 138 seats and Congis got 145. How much difference is there in the support base of both parties? Do you know BJP increased thier tally from jsut 2 MPs in 1984 to ruling the Country in another 15 years? The more you abuse the liberal H1ndus, the more liberal H1ndus will be forced to support BJP. So keep your skewed logic for yourself and your ilk.

Lo and behold!
by Vidisha on May 15, 2009 01:15 PM

Now they all run away when it comes to sane talk sans abuses and vile accusations.

And they claim to take this country up to a higher level. They claim to spread brotherhood and love. Culture and respect for others. They criticise others when first they should take a look at themselves in the mirror. One click on their pages and you encounter a yucky garbage pit.

An iota of shame and you would choose to pause a bit before shouting at everyone.

Bye all.
