I think Hindi north has a natural liking towards Pak and natural dislike towards south. But countries are organized exactly opposite to this. North/South need to diverge while North/Pak need to converge. That will bring peace to the subcontinent and prosperity as well. It will reduce defence budget and Kasmir can be joint property of both. Trains between Peshawar and Patna are a must...

stop this divide.
1. gujurat is develop becuase of biharis 2. IT in south is becuase of biharis 3. mumabi as finance capital beucase hard work from biharis 4. delhi also growing becuase of biharis
5. in usa also, there are so many biharis in sillicaon valley,
realise our potential now. we will overtake everyone in next 5 years

only cows & bhainsia developed by biharis,in between entered la(ooloo) and RAITA spill allover

if all biharis move out of gujurat, whole gujurat economy will fall in 2 days.

then why the hell is bihar still backwards?where are more biharis ?? in bihar or in Gujrath, in south, in mumbai or in Sillicon valley??
if bihar overtakes, no sane person will be jealous of the development, but it looks highly improbable with the kind of politicians and people there. Poeple wont ask anything to politician and pliticians dont do anything
This is differnce between Karunanidhi and Nitish Kumar, Nitish think of Bihar people, Karunanidhi think of his own (people) people, NK demanded for special status for Bihar, MK demanded for Plum ministerial post to earn big money.
Re: Will back any party that offers Bihar special status: JD-U
by hiral joshi on May 15, 2009 05:55 PM
you are right. Nitish is Smart politician. I dont see any problem in this demand. Bihar had been devastated by floods every year and also devastated by corrupt politicians even more so they can get tax holidays and some incentives for FDI. Kutchh region of Gujarat has it because of 2001 earthquake. Then NDA govt gave special tax holiday to Kutchh.
now once we get special status, we will have more industry. in next 5 years. 1. all major it companies will be in bihar 2. all banks and finance companies will have hq here. 3. largest manufacturing plant in world 4. max electricity production 5. 24 hour water for everyone 6. we will over take shanghai in FII investment
now no one can stop us and we will be lead the india like we always done in past

then why did it happened only in bangalore, hyd, chennai in india, a small percent in pune and gurgoen?? why was this city not done in gujrath or bihar ??
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: this is very good
by rougedge on May 15, 2009 06:14 PM
why do u want to go to malaysia and japan, bihars in bangalore and hyderabad mumbai also are working well and are indirectly and directly helping these state govts to develop there states, thats just becasue, these states have given infrastructure to them and any common man in india to come and live happily and work well for overall development. None of these states got special status. Why can't bihar do that by itself?
Re: Re: Re: Re: this is very good
by Naren Singh on May 15, 2009 06:12 PM
so you think, majority of enginners working in Banglore are kannad, in Hydrabad are Telugu and in Chennai are Tamil??
you are out of your mind.
these three Great city became IT hub because of Government's effort to give special previlege and infrastructure to such industry.
and Just for your General Knowledge... Gurgaon, NOIDA, Faridabad are the stallite towns of Delhi and they have much more bigger diversified development then any of the BIG cities you have listed.
This is tru that in a night Bihar is not going to touch the SKY but they will have a much needed support to prepare for themself for it. The Banglore, Channai and Hydrabad were given such help and they worked hard to achieve the goal.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: this is very good

with development on its way in bihar, we need to reserve jobs only for biharis, we can do that with special status. Other wise these other state ppl may come and form their colonies, i have seen such thing in pune and bangalore.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: this is very good
by rougedge on May 15, 2009 06:20 PM
and one more info for you, around 20k engineers come out of Karnataka every years, 15k from AP and around 10k from TN. This is every year. now, did u get any idea why these places have more software companies??
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: this is very good
by rougedge on May 15, 2009 06:19 PM
i am not telling that there are only local people working in these states, as u also said its infrastructure. But who provided this infrastructure??? politicians and beaurocrates of that states who are local to that states right?
and thanks for ur GK tip. I have one tip for you. Bangalore had 2,500 registered software companies in 2003, i dont know how much it has now.
"much more bigger diversified development then any of the BIG cities you have listed" I doutbt that

... you need to slow down...in Day Dreaming. Granting special status to Bihar is not going to bring revolution. It will do much needed support Bihar looking for for years. Even if Bihar gets the special status, it will take atleast 10 years to show the sign of 'WHAT you have LISTED above'.
Dont forget that Bihar will still face politicians like Guru Lalu and Ram Vilas and DUMB Rabari. ... .. They are still there and one wrong move this NDA will spoil the development dream of Bihar. ... ...
Regional parties have gained a lot through pressurising tactics with the Government as their support to the government was crucial for the survival of it. Now, it has come to such an extent that these regional parties are openly bargaining undue favours which gives a helplessness and disgust among the public who voted for the national parties with the broader picture of the country in mind ! In order to make our democracy strong, we need to get away with these regional satraps. For this, may be we will have to think alternatives without them. A totally out of the box solution would be to have a government with the participation of both the Congress and the BJP. In any way, there will be parties who fought election as enemies and would join hands after the elections, this time also. Then why not the Congress and the BJP ?!

Very true, they could agree to disagree on the hindutva agenda of BJP and the dynastical agenda of congress and select a consensus candidate for the important portfolios out of the third front. Daydreaming, possibly yes...but politics makes strange bedfellows and the best option for the common man to get some progress out these jokers presently making a mockery of governance.

first of all i am not a bihar1 ..If anyone of u have any problem with bihar getting special status ..goto whoever u've elected from your state and force them to pressurize the central to provide the same to u state as well ..not point talking about division of India and all coz ME AND NATIONALISTS LIKE ME WILL NEVER EVER LET THAT HAPPEN ..As for Pak1 bholu ullu ..he can surk h1s 0wn d1ck like all pak1's do
North South trains must stop. Instead we need trains between India and Pakistan. I would like to see a train running between Peshawar and Patna. Let the border of MP serve as the border between north and south india, two distinct countries...

excellent paper work. u r one step ahead of nitish & la(ooloo)
Its painful to see without a thoughtful insight people jump to conclusion and resort to regional rhetoric. Nitish only asked for some incentives for FDI and Tax holidays for Bihar to bring industries there. I dont see it as an illegitimate demand. When UPA came to power they gave Rs. 500 cr. to Bihar and its then corrupt RJD govt minted those money. Nitish is not asking special package rather he is asking some incentives for bringing industries. Once conducive environment is there Bihar can develop of its own that is his confidence. I think NDA will support his demand. And not only that, they will implement this schemes at various states of India. BTW, I am from Gujarat but I wish whole India progress uniformly. I know states like Gujarat will have to compete hard after such incentives but they must compete hard. If everywhere same opportunity is set then only individual state govt's performance will play a role for bringing in investment and development.

Dear hiral, its selling of his support which is objectionable. The constitutional method would be to attend parliament and place arguments in favour of his legitimate demands.
Re: Re: Nitish's demand and its legitimacy
by hiral joshi on May 15, 2009 05:52 PM
its not second class treatment. Its like if you are an investor and choose Bihar as destination you get tax benefit but if you choose Gujarat you have other benefits. Like in gujarat if you choose Kutchh, you have tax benefit because central govt has announced it after 2001 earthquake. So most industries migrated to kutchh while other regions got new industries.

what nonsense . if any benefits are given to Bihar by Centre, then the same benefits should automatically be given to other states as well.
