If all people want to join hinduism will the people talk against it ? I am sure all will happily welcome them. Thankfully hinudism doesn't have any substance and therefore people are joining it. There should be some reasoning as to why hinduism is better than other simple faiths. The faith which is simple, talks of pain and suffering will become popular. Also it should be practical in application rather than abstract and difficult to understand.

I wish converting faiths should stop this sinful activity. Knowing nothing about Hinduism, you have chosen to comment on it. You have tried to convert hindus for 300 years without success. The hindus have respected all other faiths and this is taken as a weakness of Hinduism!! If this kind of attitude continues, there will be backlash. It is because of people like you, organizations like VHP and Bajrangdal have sprung up. Wherever reasonable approach is not encouraged, unreasonable approach will begin. Now await the backlash. There is hardly any need to get worked up about this. India has had British rule for two centuries and still the percentage of Christians is less than five. So, conversion or no conversion, there is no threat to Hindu following.
But, even if the practice of conversion is followed, it's a peaceful and voluntary activity. Nobody is using force or violence. So violent backlashes against it must not be advocated.
The supporters of the BJP are not Hindus. The supporters of the BJP are insecure Hindus.
Now, don't interpret that as my promoting conversion. I definitely see it as a socio-political problem which needs to be kept under leash. Because I don't prefer law and order problems to be stoked.
That doesn't mean that it justifies the VHP and Bajrang Dal and miscellaneous such tails of the BJP.
The BJP treats the VHP, Ram Sene, Bajrang Dal as strategic assets. So did Pakistan think about the Taliban. Don't forget that.

Maria Lobo, my dear Pope keep, Hinduism is a platform of living and it is more than anything from a religion. It is one of the few religion alike Buddhism or Jainism which practices forgiveness and mercy to others. It is not like Crist or Izlam where people says our religion is best and rest are worst. So there is no point in joining it. People across the world follow hinduism standards, even I have seen crists in Tamilnadu putting tilak on their forehead. Why not our Government introduce voting through the Net? This will enable people to vote from anywhere and in their privacy and comfort and will also increase polling percentage and improve partcipation of educated people in the voting process.

Well internet voting might be a convenient mode of voting for people like us who are comfortable using it. But, imagine what the remaining 80-85% of the people will do. Also, internet voting will re-open the flood gates for poll rigging. You should not be surprised if there is 100% internet polling from some remote village where there is no electricity or phone lines .. ;)

The same model can be adopted. RIgging or whateve, X supported Congress party should always be kept away from India's parliament.
