Elections in India
by Rajiv Nisar on May 16, 2009 12:33 PM  | Hide replies

It's nice to see what people have written here. But is it a big issue to be discussed? No, I think not. The bigger issue is to understand what the current government has done for us. NOTHING. All we have is Internal & External Terrorism. Internal Terrorisim is the unbalanced and biased laws. External Terrorism is keeping mum inspite of such a big attack on Mumbai. Mumbai, the financial capital of India, is in need of finance. Delhi, the Capital of India, is unsafe. Husbands are equally harrased by wives in many of the western states of India; but law allows women to "Legally Extort" money from them. Who has build up this situation - Congress. Such a shame to our country, particularly those who did not vote, lest it would have made a difference.......

good observation... husbands are harrassed by wife because of Congress.... see, how much this party has done to uplift women empowerment in India!!! he he he...

I wish BJP had more substantial policies to woo voters than the reasons given by you. If only opposition showed people how they are going to tackle all the failures made of ruling party. But no, they are happy shouting without giving people something to look forward. People want change but no party in this election showed anything in that direction. And, results are here, most of those who did not vote for the same reason no one showed them anything to vote for...

Yess my frend U r right Congress leading our country towards a healthy and wealthy eco condition...lets c how

1. Rice, Wheat, Dal, Oil prices are hiked by 85% in last 5 years.

2. School fees, College fees, Technical courses fees are hiked by 150%.

3. Farmer suicide is increased about 30% in last 4 years.

4. Maoist are increased about 80% across the country specially in tribal areas its definitely shows how congress is friendly with tribal peoples.

5. In our capital DELHI, Rape gang rape and Loot is very normal in daylight also.

6. 5 crore poor family lost their houses with no jobs in last 4 years but inspite of all one family got more strength and that is "GANDHI".

7. 200 terrorist 500 hardcore criminals and hundreds of wanted are got bail because they support congress for the development of our country.

So CONGRESS definitely building our country and formatting a SECULAR government.
Because we need a secular government inspite of above mention things.

give us a break and stop praising hte obedient puppet of sonia.

everyone had predicted recession, just that me and you dont get news space

inflation is definitely on the rise in india, there is no denying that. inflation, that too during recession. gas prices remain same despite the barrel prices dropping to almost a third globally. well done congress..may u extort more money out of the same public that voted u to power...after all, the public seems to love the torture you have inflicted on them for the past so many years.

oh, btw, now mms will restore the economy to fully booming one in 100 days as per his promise. despite the US cutting on jobs being offshored to india. he must be a magician!

that begs the question: why do we need a secular govt after all, when we ourselves are not secular. the very fact that a govt is voted to power just because they claim they are secular says a lot about the public mindset...and why are minorities so shit scared of bjp? no one can blame them for something they hv not done..anyways, it should be celebration time for all terrorists: kasab, afzal and all their allies

Bogus Internet Campaign by BJP.
After realising its defeat in print and visual media BJP leader Advani and his toughs has started a very well planned strategic to mislead the youth of India by the help of some jobless IT professionals due to Economic resurgence.
This Team of IT professionals under the guided by top BJP toughs like Sudhanshu Mittal, Jaitley are well paid and assigned for 24 hours duty to illustrate fall projection that BJP is a favourable party of Indian youth by hacking some communities and groups of some social internet networking sites like Orkut, Facebook, and yahoo.
If some one tries to post anything against BJP he will be banned or that tread will be deleted.
Advani’s dream of replicating Obama’s election campaign and becoming PM will never fulfil because of his sham policies.
This fake publicity campaign of BJP will burst like water bubble very soon.

It's a shame that we Indians are fighting with each other; and who is winning? These bloody corrupt Congressians and BJPians and other smaller parties. They are not blame but we are to blame for being nerds. If you have such verbal power, then it is time to come out and speak for all the civilians rather than these good-for-nothing idiot politicians.

BJP ..Its time to learn a lesson !
but that doesnt mean .. try to appease the minority population of our country juz like congress !!

i don think any educated indian wil ever vote for such a person without doin enuff research .. or he wil chose not to vote if none of them r worthy enuff !

the problem is: how many educated people vote or for that matter, how much of hte educated population stays in india? atleast 50% of them migrate, and the remaining 50% are too busy with their well paid cushy jobs.

of course, the poverty stricken areas vote after getting free liquor and food, and may be 500 Rs. per vote..easier than buying vote of confidence in parliament
