Who is adi shankara and wht is his qualifications ? Can the son of a brahmin can be a dalit at social level? Or can the son of dalit be a brahmin in society as we peceive today ? Can you tell me what is that truth you are referring to ? To me, a religion or system must address the core issues like pain and sufferings living beings and also it must teach us how to accept pain and move a head with more strength and dedication. I didnt had any exposure to such concepts when I was a dalit, but after knowing Christianity, I feel I have done a good hing in my life. Now I am confident and can talk to anyone. I believe in values and virtues preached in bible. Things are not the same for me as compared to my past. I knw the difference now.

Musician, You didnt answer my Question. Wht is truth ? Is it living like dalit is truth? Is abandoning suffering people is truth ? Is untouchability is truth ? Where is your krishna or Rama when people are branded as untouchables ? How does your adi saknara addresses the core issue of pain and suffering ? Does he has any knowledge about the real issues of practical living ? To tell you solemnly, I am using my life as a message to dalits to know the truth of their miserable life and come out of the shackles and unjust restrictions imposed on them. They must be liberated in every way, especially the social taboo. They must realize their condition sooner and also must knw that they are fooled for centuries in the name of some strange philosophies and way of lives. They may not see the real difficulties but time will come when they will see what is really happening with them. They come come out of the system to see the real problem. I humbly say that Christianity has given me strength to work for dalits.

Mike, Your question could be answered in a simple way. Caste system was for the distribution of labour but only not a tag by birth. There are several kings who were born Kshatriyas but by KARMA they became Brahamins. Budha, Mahaveer were Kshatriyas by birth. Guru Drona was Brahamin but by Karma he became Kshatriya. At some stage of time, the concept of Karma vanished and it took the place of by Birth. Now a Brahamin by birth may be doing all karma of Shudra still called Brahmin. Some Manu or manulike persons propogated the idea by birth as it did not require any qualification to be Brahamin. To be brahamin by Karma needed lot of Tap or devotion to studies. Hindu religion is one of the greatest but in ZIP file and burried in the books which requires a selfless religious man to unfold it.

What caste do u think Valmiki, Vyasa were born in to? Even your pet grouse Adi Shankara wrote a song in which he emphasises equality of humans Lastly, can you explain the concept of separate cemeteries in Tamil Nadu for Dalits and Caste Hindus?

He had his reasons. He was very much willing to follow Christ but he felt the faith has not originated in Inda. Thats the only reason he went for Buddhism. BUt I have my own views. I think wht Ambedkar did is wrong as Buddhism is a kind of atheism.

Bhakta tukaram, the great saint of maharashtra was born as dalit but had the darshan of lord krishna - he was granted salvation bodily - see encyclopaedia - this may seem unbelievable but truth stands. Who are you to ask about great incarnations and messengers - what are your qualifications. How can you say hinduism preaches inequality - see the bhakti yoga in geeta - what a human being should do is clearly mentioned - it says human being can become god by inculcating godly qualities - is this not the highest virtue preached by hinduism. I can quote scores of examples like this. Try to know the truth my dear brother.

I pitty on you. Rather than giving a convincing answer to my questions on pain and suffering, you are trying to defend your unjust beliefs thru the quotes of geetha, encyclopaedia, tukarama blah blah blah. I wud say you just shut your mouth and do your work. You are unfit for educating others about your own parent faith. You speak vague and blurred language which makes me feel laugh at your own knowledge hindu philosophy. You are not able to know the meaning of inequality. I dont want to talk to illiterates like you. Atleast you see a dalit like me. I can talk authoritatively on my past life and Christianity.

" you are trying to defend your unjust beliefs" So you are biased. You will not see other views than your own. First of all what makes you feel your belief is justified? Like any other religion christianity too can be questioned. No where have you said, how it provided philosophies which alleviated your pain and sufferings, or holds the answer to that

You are revealing your ignorant nature completely. It is known from your messages. You have not understood my message in any way. I was trying (only trying) to convince you that all human beings are equal before god (everybody can become god by inculcating divine qualities - every human being has a right to it)and which message is preached by all religions and I quoted example of so called people born as dalit (word according to you) but have become equal to god. Hope you at least understand what I wanted to convey. Without darkness, you cannot see light. Without pain and suffering, one cannot know happiness. Without rich, poor word has no meaning. Nature's laws are like that. Pain and suffering are a part of life, though few lucky ones have lesser pain and suffering and more happiness and vice versa. By the way what inequality you are talking about. Dalits have occupied higher positions in today's society, What do you say about that - is it inequality. Had it been there, would that have been possible.
