The so called 3rd front was comprised of 3rd rate parties who see nothing wrong in aligning with NDA or UPA provide their self interestes are served. Though the reporter has made one mistake. Nitish was never a part of the 3rd front and Manmohan's wooing is not going to cut any ice with him. Deep down in their hearts these 3rd class 3rd front leaders know that barring Jayalalitha and TDP to some extent, they are not going to gain any major numbers of seats and that is the reason they have not waited for counting to be over and are running to either NDA or UPA to sell their votes for the right price. I was travelling in Kolkata last elections and when I posed the question to some Taxi drivers and others in the street about reds coming back to power, cynically they said where is the doubt. According to them, the Marxists have made inroads into every conceivable Govt organisation including police and perfected the art of rigging in the last 32 years. The only people who can damage the outcome are the party cadres themselves and not Trinamool or Congress. It will be interesting to see the results. What have they achieved in WB in the last 32 years of (mis)rule? Karats and marxists require the stick. They should migrate in toto to China and practice communism there if they are booted out. Yes.. most of them are fools. You just have to see Kolkata and live in kolkata for a year to know, how far outdated that city is.
Its a heart warming city, but administration, infrastructure are pathetic. In a office, if everyone believes they are intellectuals (actually, they may not be intellectuals) hence they will do the thinking and rest will work around their thinking, will things ever get done.
Thats the problem with Bengal. They are not as intellectual for this day and age as they presume. Hence, ideas are outdated and not implementable

Congress people killed more than 5000 sikhs in Delhi and other parts of India, nobody got punished. Congress allowed to continue killing and looting of sikhs for 3 days and not sent even a single policeman to help them for 3 days.

Did you know that on the day of the Mumbai train blasts, the Government gave Rs 150 crores for earthquake relief in Pakistan ? 1) When Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian Government is giving them CBSE status !! It is depriving Muslim children in getting secular education. A Madrasa educated person can get a job in any government office without going through the secular education system. Can India afford to have fundamentalists in government departments? Why cannot the government shut down Madrassas and let Muslim children study with the rest?
