Are you a pro CPM reporter? You being outside Bengal must have seen what image bongs have in rest of India. That is because of people like you who have the benefit of politics outside bengal and grown healhilty yet possessing a parcohial outlook. I wonder bongs like you stationed at Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangaluru or any other decent city should even be allowed to live there when you support the CPM here. A nurd could well make out where have we reached as a unit here in Bengal visavis rest of India. I hope your relatives are not in such states like Bihar, UP, Assam, Orrissa, North east states against whom people like and the left may benchmark their stantards. We are weak in conception and such people like you in doubting the change have only contributed to what we are today

Indrani is an anti-CPM reporter. See her past reports. But this time, she has written somewhat sensible or she has made an 'OOPs' like Budhadeb.
begger cant be chooser. in the best case scenario ,mamata will become bengal's lalu.she will do to bengal what lalu had done to bihar. after all bihar and bengal are neighbours.in a bad scenario ,we may be revisited by one of those (infamous) bengal famines.in the early forties ,it killed millions in bengal.

I think we should have a clear picture of Shrimati Mamata Bannerjee (potential candidate of Chief Minister in West Bengal). 1. In her one of the interviews in a regional TV channel she has told that Rabindranath Tagore has offered a drink (lemon water) to Gandhiji during 1947 at Noakhali. However, unfortunately, Rabindranath Tagore has passed away in 1941. 2. Darjeeling may be converted to Switzerland as its having mountains as well as sea. Can she tell us please the name of the SEA which is situated at Darjeeling?
Now we the people of Bengal should decide whether we should select a person without having the knowledge of History, Geography or may be also about culture, economics as well as society?

There is no govt in bengal.Mamta will be far better.As a matter of fact even a non political person can run the state better.But alas! the fear of hoodlums of the CPIM in common man and ensures the CPIM to win elections year after year.Moreover the CPIM has made Bengal a safe heaven for the islamic fundamentalists(terrorists) and the infiltrators from Bangladesh.CPIM is a prty of the Bangladeshis,for the Bangladeshis and by the Bangladeshis.Indian bengalis are being screwed for the last thirty years and will be continuing till Bangladeshis are thrown out of this country.

Ma'am you are absolutely right as that is the choice the voters of West Bengal have. A choice between the devil and the deep blue sea! The Left Front today is extremely and oppressively unacceptable from all angles. But the perpetual emotionally charged Mamata is going to be even worse if she takes charge of West Bengal. Thank God that this is the Parliamentary elections and not Assembly, so people do not have to put up with Mamata's equally hooligan ridden lumpen army of supporters just yet. She will merely try to play power broker at the Centre. The Left will get more seats all India than her West Bengal restricted arena seats and if the Congress sees a chance to cobble together an opportunistic alliance to form a Govt. then they will again take the help of the more "valuable" CPI(M) without fail. If that happens then Mamata as per earlier pronouncements will not join. If she does then she is politically finished for having shared the same govt. with the Left her sworn enemy.If her numbers help NDA she will go back to her earlier allies whom she ditched recently to hoodwink the Mo$lem voters who still do not care to vote like the rest of us even after being taken for a ride by every political party for the last 60 years.
