18 month government......
by Mak C on May 12, 2009 01:32 PM  | Hide replies

According to a report in TOI the election is going to result in a government which will last only for 18 months. So says some astrologer looking at the current position of Jupiter(F knows how). But if this astrologer gets lucky another 50,000 crores will go down the drain, we will continue begging from World bank, get IMF, IDF loans whilst these politicians squander off money in travel and sloganeering besides pointless wastage of precious fossil fuels and unnecessary global warming which results. After spending so much and getting elected its pay-back time. So corruption has to continue. Things that come in the way are education, law and order. No sweat... judiciary can remain primitive and the educated can remain in minority after all the politicians get the last say over here too. Its funny to read the pseudo secularists and pseudo spiritualists over here, whilst the article above should be opening their eyes.

in this matter, I would say that LKA's opinion that any elected government should be there for one full term is a practical suggestion to avoid such expenses which finally have to be borny by the tax payers

Money Matters

It is a simple calculation to find how much is hoarded by politicians within India.Every year government prints crores on currency notes.Taking away the normal amount in circulation, and that which is kept in Banks, the reminder is kept as black money in the custody of our crooked politicians and terrorists.Putting together, Swiss money and this black money within our country, can change the way our poor people live. But, I giarantee you, that no party/politician will ever try to unearth this money. It is only to fool the already fooled electorates.

Over Rs 50,000 crore spent on Lok Sabha poll campaign
by chandra pant on May 12, 2009 01:26 PM  | Hide replies

I wrote email to followings suggesting that this time Govt should provide Voting through email. But nun of them replied. I spoke directly to one officer in star news Andheri office also and requested him to take up this metter in media.
1) election Commission
2) Prime Minister
3) star News Mumbai.
4) aaj tak news.
5) NDTV
6) Mumbai Mirror.
7) Navbharat Times

No one bothered about this. How much we could have saved ?? and Voting turnout of Mumbai was 45 % it could have gone atleast 90 % or more , I feel Indian s will never change . Next election will be after 2 Years that time Poll comaign will cross more than 1 lakh crores. And everybody will pay for this.
