PC is well known in his constituency.It is hard to imagine that he will get beaten.Kannappan of AIADMK is a capable contender in electioneering but not with the PC image.So it is hard to believe PC will lose. Now for the Sri Lanka Tamil issue.Here driven by its anti LTTE bias due to historical reasons,GOI did not intervene at all.This was a blunder.But how much will this error cost the Congress.?Not much ,since elections are fought by alliances.If the arithmetic is bad PC may lose.One cannot say for sure as PC has spent a lot.

PC is a known foe to JJ, She attacked PC in 1991 at Trichy airport the attackers headed by one Ilavarasan who now is Rajya Sabha MP nominated by ADMK. When congress allied with ADMK in 1999 PC stood alone and lost the election to Nachiappan. All these filmi chamchas are working at behest of JJ. JJ stand far from PC in family back ground, personality, social stature. The fight is between a educated with a mistress of MGR.

on one side is the mistress of MGR...other side mistress of Quotrochi and her puppet nominee..Chodumbaran....hope he loses his deposit and he and his porki italian bar dancer and the old rascal karunachadi lose badly...karun anyways is with one leg in a coffin..its high time he kicked the bucket and left others in peace...isnt he in hospital...hope this time he does not have to come back to harass people...
These men are being Dogs in the Manger. They can no where support the Sri Lankan Tamils even if Congress is booted out and Chidambaram loses his job. These men have an issue which they believe can win them an election and little else. So far as for the majority Tamil - native or Jafna it is only going to a losing game and suffering. And that is the tragedy.

Hey Marth I am fully agree with you. P.C during the agitation of employee of oil sector workers had used very abusive language and had recommended downward pay for employees. He kicked in the stomach of employee who are fighting for their genuine demand. He wanted himself to be reach but wanted the innocent and unarmed employees to be suffer of unjustified decision by Sonia led proxy Govt.
Where were all these political parties now crying and shouting loud in the name of Tamilians when the LTTE has committed so many terror activites against fellow Tamil leaders and other nationals of their own country. Their forceful recruitment of children to their cadre is a crime against humanity

to have a solid opposition to srilankan army, LTTE might have sacrifised some tamils ... this is to better defend tamils, not to kill them all ... if you ask any tamil they would rather be with LTTE than with Srilankan army ... go and ask in the camp ... just assume if you have 100 different opposition to srilankan army and they don't have coordination between them then, they will fall as whole ...

i am a jaffna tamil and ltte killed those who were plotting against tamils. Ltte would have killed less than 1000 tamils, Sri Lankan government alone killed thousand on Sunday.
Besides, most tamils would rather have ltte than sri lankan government on top. Who do you think started this war. Because of who did ltte form?

ok so u dont know much about lanka. For 30 years, tamils were discriminated and for thsoe years, they did peaceful protest But army started killing people and even killing during sit in protest.
Every decade, there were riots wehre 1000s of tamils died. Then in 83, LTTE was formed after the last riot. Well they were formed earlier but didnt have tamil support. But after 83, when 1000s of tamils died after the worst riots, ltte got lots of support. So it was sri lanka who started this. I am glad i educated one person.

LTTE would have not exists if tamils were treated with equal rights ... still tamils in srilanka don't have equal rights as sinhalese ... tamils protested against this in Gandhiyan way initially ... and after srilankan army's oppression (killing and raping tamils), tamils also took weapons to defend themselves ... that how LTTE was born ...

Who is bombing the Tamils in Eelam, the LTTE or your Singalese government? The compaign is not about LTTE, the compaign is about getting PC and congress out. And the raising awareness of the killing of Tamils civilian by the Singalese with the help of Congress.
With the entry of the Kongunadu Munnetra Peravai (KNMP) into the election fray, the action in some constituencies in Coimbatore belt has taken an interesting turn. The contest in the 12 constituencies is a case in point. All major parties have so far campaigning, but the one who is going to eat into the votes of the major political parties is the KNMP which is espousing the cause of the community.
After the state govt had neglected the Kongu (Coimbatore) region for a long time in development aspects, it has become a battleground of the Gounders..
KNMP’s candidates are in the forefront and observers point out, KNMP will give all other candidates a run for their money.
While the issues of the community are going to dictate the voting pattern, developmental issues, too, are going to sway the electorate.
The Gounders have all along felt they have been short-changed and the KNMP is trying to drive home this point.
The Coimbatore region being an agrarian & Industrial belt, issues such as reasonable prices for agricultural produce, mainly copra & lack of infrastructure development have cropped up often. Now both the major parties DMK & ADMK are campaigning against KNMP. But the winner will be one & only KNMP. SO CAST YOUR VOTE FOR KNMP
