BUDDHADEB WILL BE THE NEXT PRIME MINISTER!
by Kabeer on May 12, 2009 12:07 PM  | Hide replies

It will be a Third Front Govt this time!

Not that they are going to get the highest number of seats than UPA or NDA.

But they are going to steadfastly refuse to support the UPA Govt and for obvious reasons can not support NDA also.

Now the Congress and Lallu will be in a bind to stop NDA from coming to power. NDA must be in a sniffing distance away from power and possibly are going to get more than the UPA this time.

So Congress will be compelled to support a Third Front Govt from outside as they will not be given the post of PM this time.

In the Third Front if any regional leader becomes the PM it will make that person larger than life figure and for that reason other partners will not support either a Mayawati or a Naveen Patnaik or a Chandrababu Naidu from becoming PM. They want a confirmed secular party and a non-personal party person to become a PM. That fits perfectly for CPM and CPM is a confirmed secular party and a national party and is not a threat to any of the partners of Third Front.

So that makes Prakash Karat the choice for PM; but Prakash Karat has to refuse as he didnt have any Governing experience. So that makes Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee who did nearly two terms of running a West Bengal Govt the obvious choice. Buddhadeb is also the darling of Capitalist class with his leanings towards Tata-Singur project and he will get Congress support which is under the Western Govt pressure to support a liberalist regime.

Turn of the East-BUDDHA THE PM

My dear, secularism is over used word.It has done more harm than good in our democracy. There are important things for our country than use this word only to keep minorities tied up to the pole of securalism. Liberate them. Bring them out of ghetto and let every one be individual first. So Called Secular parties must allow open debate on the word 'secularism'. I have not seen any single govt of so-called-secular government has done anything to address insecurities of minorities. Group still feels neglected and threatened, and that suits the likes of Communists and Congress and other fringe so-called-secular parties

Go on day-dreaming, my friend. No man in any party is secular. They are united for chair & power. All out shop-keeping. In this regard the BJP men are little honest in their sayings & acions. But the rest are ready to jump on the wagon of power & will to rule over - surely to ruin us.

Mamta Banerjee
by deshbhakth on May 12, 2009 11:48 AM  | Hide replies

In one of the news articles published about 5-6 weeks back: Mamta had claimed that if TMC is brought to power in the State (next state election), then she will transform Kolkata to London, Darjeeling & Dooars area as Switzerland, the beach area Digha as GOA. What a great dream, but let me assert here that neither Mamta or her fledgling party have the werewithals to get this done. It is all poll humbug and stunt. OK, let us assume she get these done, do you think any of the local Bengalis will be able to go and enjoy the fruits of such development. She did not speak about bringing new industries to create jobs and the ones which came in, also were driven out by her goondaism acts. All her examples of Kolkata (London), DOOARS (Switzerland) and Digha (Goa) have no industrialization which could provide jobs, so that the local guys could earn and then spend a part of their earnings in enjoying these picnic (vacation) spots

DON'T GIVE A SINGLE VOTE TO THESE COMMIES - i) WHO HAVE DESTROYED ALL THE INDUSTRIES IN W.B. OVER THE LAST 32 YEARS, ii) BROUGHT NO IMPROVEMENT IN THE LIVES OF POOR PEOPLE IN PURULIA, BANKURA, MIDNAPORE, BIRBHUM AND OTHER BACKWARD DISTRICTS.

VOTE FOR A CHANGE IN W.B. - VOTE OUT LEFT.

West Bengal is the only state in India, which has mountains, forests, historical monuments, sea and rivers - all clubbed together. This state, with only tourism, would have been the richest state of India. But alas, in the last 30 years, we have not seen any progress. Be it tourism, industry, employment, road, basic facilities, education. By removing English as a medium of education, the ruling party has almost wiped out an entire generation of better living. Today they say, it was a mistake. Numerous example could be brought to front and this place will not be enough to address all issues. Whether TMC will be good or bad that is not the issue, but the issue is, "Change we want", then only we will be able to find out who is better

My suggestion is to bring West Bengal under military rule (because in India President's rule does not make any sense since they are rubber stamps unless you have people like APJ Kalam or Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, Rajendra Prasad) Give just 2 political parties Congress and BJP about 2 years to organize themselves in this state through grass root level politics and bring about the changes required in this state for overall development. As of today unfortunately WB does not have a single political party which can come to its rescue. This is your chance WB to keep the commies out because in almost 35 years, their performance has been dismal. Every election in WB is rigged, goondas and commie cadres are used to coerce people to vote for them. Otherwise they cannot be having this dream run for so long without any tangible performance

deshbhakth,
Please stop this age old story of rigging in WB elections! Stop this...people are tired of listening to these baseless allegations. Left is winning just because of their good governance and nothing else.

And, give us some specific example where you think WB is lacking compared to other states of same size...with proper source of your data. If you can't. then better stop spreading these nonsense!

Hey CPM cadre, go to the villages of Midnapore (E & W), Bankura, Purulia etc and see what type of rigging they can do. u can not imagine. Do not forget, one booth contains nearly 1000 votes. U support commies that is ok but do not be blind.

If not military rule, atleast two years for congress and bjp for reorganising themselves, as all these 35 years they were very very busy in serving people and did not get time to organise themselves.. he - deshbhakth- rightly understood the problem.hip hip hurrey.. hats off man, MrDeshabhakth.

Mr. Bhowmik, rigging can be an age-old story but it's the reality even today. How can you turn your face away from reality. Also, the anti-Indian stand of commies is a reality. LF started working towards industrialisation in WB only after 2006. It has failed miserably in areas like governance, power, health, education, work culture, infrstructure, tourism, food, sports, youth development, rural affairs, PWD and the list is endless. The only contributions is Land reform, Durgapur expressway & a few flyovers in Kolkata. Even Rajarhat project has been screwd up by your urban development minister by indiscriminate allotment of land to partymen without considering for drainage. What could've been a model town, will become another Behala.
