Yes its true. Despite being a Learned land and long history of Education and learning center the British abolished Indian education system. Lord Macaulay (a missionary) was sent by British who 1838 established the English education system in India. It's since then that English education system is followed in the country. People speaking english, and doing everthing english style are labeled as Learned. Those who can'nt speak English are rediculed. Parents try hard to send their children to English schools. This was their strategy to break back bone of our society. Even the caste system and the discrimination on the basis of caste was the creation of British. Hindoos had the concept of Varnas (you can call it class or caste or whatever) but it was never used in such a derogatory manner as british used it. The british divide and rule policy was implemented in every sense, North Indians were called Aryan descendents, South Indians were called Dravadian descendents etc. etc. British changed the entire history of Bharata.

The converts are neither fish nor fowl. They have not become white-skinned Europeans or Americans by virtue of having some dirty water sprinkled over their head nor Arabs by virtue of having a small portion of a particular organ cut off. They still carry the genes similar to the rest of the natives of our Country. They are abusing their own ancestors when they abuse our native culture and civilization.

Haroon Ahmad wants us to believe that Ms Maneka Gandhi was elected 5 times to the Parliament from Pilibhit without doing any thing substantial to the uplift of the region. What a ridiculous averment. Your correspondent wants us to digest that 350000 100000 250000 30000 out of 1300000 will not vote for Mr. Gandhi. So far so good. What is left there to cry about for the samajvadis and sarvajanvadis?

Dear Naresh, For your information, Jesus never fails! He remains all-powerful and eternal, as the Lord of lords & King of Kings, believe it or not! What may look as defeat in human understanding is only paving way to show how Victorious Jesus and His followers are! But the interest is not for political gains or power to rule the Country. It is something beyond all this temporary things. Please read the Bible before you mention His name for unnecessary things!!
