Most improper and irresponsible
by Chris on May 10, 2009 07:42 PM  | Hide replies

The EC should move the SC to instruct the CBI to charge the IB with violation of the Electoral Code of Conduct.

The IB (or any wing of the Goverment) is not supposed to be taking any sides in the elction. In fact, the IB has no role whatsoever in the election.

It is highly irregular and most improper and irresponsible for the IB to go around forecasting the results of the elections.

Let us hope that the Supreme Court censures the IB (and the EC) for this gross violation of the Electoral Code of Conduct.

The above report states "The IB, however, appears confident about the report."
Does this mean that the IB knows something about these elections, which the citizens of India don't know ?

Chief Election Commissioner Chawla has been already bought for a huge price. EC will definitely applaud the work of IB, no doubt.

India needs to ACT NOW to end the Genocide of Tamil civilians
by Chris on May 10, 2009 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

COLOMBO (AFP) – Sri Lanka's Tamil Tiger rebels on Sunday accused the government of killing more than 2,000 civilians in 24 hours of artillery attacks, but the military denied the allegations.

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) said in a statement posted on the Tamilnet website that the army had unleashed a devastating offensive on the small coastal patch of land that the rebels still control.

"More than 2,000 innocent civilians have been killed in the last 24 hours," Tamilnet quoted S. Pathmanathan, the rebels' chief arms smuggler, as saying.

The website said 257 bodies had been brought to a makeshift hospital that was overwhelmed with hundreds of injured casualties.

Many of the dead were "found in bunkers and inside the tarpaulin tents," it said.

The Sri Lankan government has refused all international calls for a ceasefire despite reports from the United Nations last month saying up to 6,500 civilians may have been killed and 14,000 wounded in fighting since January.

It has also turned down requests by the UN to send humanitarian officials into the rebel territory, where the UN estimates about 50,000 civilians are trapped.

Filthy abuses traded on this website in the name of religion are detestable and reprehen-sible. As all of us want this site be maintain-ed clean for healthy discussion & debate, we call upon you not to publish any contribution that attacks directly any other religion or purports to show one religion as superior to another. It is disgusting to read such immat-ure mails on your website. Your moderator better use a stronger arm in suppressing such mails in future. I refer specifically to the mails from Fiona and Michelle Lobo. They can both go to Dharavi in Mumbai and fight there.

In the Church in England, the Christian Evangelicals are divided into two:
1) Christian Zionists who love Israel and would do anything to protect the Church from attacks by Radical Izlam
2)Anti-Zionists who want to see Israel destroyed and are ready to appease Radical Izlam for achieving that purpose
This is why The Church in England hardly raises it voice against Izlamic Terrorism

While reading the book " 100 Greatest Science discoveries of all times by Kendal Haven " I have learned that many Scientist were tortured just because their opinion were not matching with the prevelent opinion of the Church. I used to think that Christianity was more liberal and Scientific but it proved wrong while reading this Scientific manuscript of Discoveries.
