Tamilians must rule India
by justin jasper on Jan 17, 2010 11:03 PM

As a Tamilian we all knew that, all of our rights are being neglected by the central government.Srilankan issue,Mullai periyar dam issue, sethu samuthram project etc. We are continuously being cheated and frustrated by our Indian government.I feel proud to say, from our state we have more central ministers and dedicated MP's from all parties. But as a minister or member of parliament they can only give request or protest for our demands. No one can blame them. This is the fact. Assume, in case one of our member is in the chair as a prime minister, then it will be the different story.Inspite of requesting or protesting, we can adamantly demand for our rights. If we want to protect our rights, we must rule our own India. For that we need unity. We must forget our differences to move forward for achieving that goal.

dont "caste" your vote...please only cast it...how would your forefhers feel if after so many years they have an italian lording over this region?...how will they feel if after driving out the british they are voting a italian bar girl to lead this nation...they will not be happy seeing what the nehru gandi family has done to this country by destroying the economy, the unity and creating such a corrupt system...think of your forefathers Rama Rao..dont vote for the ulta pulta alliance..dont strengthen the hands of quotrochi, kasab and afzal guru unless you are also on them...in that case aftering casting your vote please go to swat and fight "holy" war there...

GOODBYE DMK & ADMK
by Shanmuganandan on May 11, 2009 11:36 PM  | Hide replies

With the entry of the Kongunadu Munnetra Peravai (KNMP) into the election fray, the action in some constituencies in Coimbatore belt has taken an interesting turn. The contest in the area is a case in point. All major parties have so far campaigning, but the one who is going to eat into the votes of the major political parties is the KNMP which is espousing the cause of the community.

After the state govt had neglected the Kongu (Coimbatore) region for a long time in development aspects, it has become a battleground of the Gounders..

KNMP’s candidates are in the forefront and observers point out, KNMP will give all other candidates a run for their money.

While the issues of the community are going to dictate the voting pattern, developmental issues, too, are going to sway the electorate.

The Gounders have all along felt they have been short-changed and the KNMP is trying to drive home this point.

The Coimbatore region being an agrarian & Industrial belt, issues such as reasonable prices for agricultural produce, mainly copra & lack of infrastructure development have cropped up often. Now both the major parties DMK & ADMK are campaigning against KNMP. But the winner will be one & only KNMP.
SO CAST YOUR VOTE FOR KNMP

compare srilankan tamil issue to sikh
by Sam Paul on May 11, 2009 10:34 PM

Sikh Issue:
Sikh killed Indira Gandhi because they were against sending indian army to sikh's golden temple. Indira Gandhi was the root cause of the problem and Sikh killed Indira. But you can see MMS as PM of India now (probably the beloved bahu sonia don't like her MIL indira). And india is involved in the internal matters of pakistan to warn killing sikh in pakistan.

Srilankan Tamil Issue:
Rajiv Gandhi was killed by LTTE because IPKF killed and raped tamils instead of helping them in srilanka. Rajiv didn't controlled IPKF and he was the root cause of all the trouble, so LTTE killed Rajiv. And thousands of tamils were killed because of Rajiv death and india still helping srilanka to kill thousands. And india will say they cann't involve in the internal matters of srilanka.

compare srilankan tamil issue to bangaladesh
by Sam Paul on May 11, 2009 10:33 PM

Bangaladesh Issue:
In east pakistan where bangaladeshis are majority didn't had equal rights as other citizens in pakistan. So, they protested and took weapons to defend themselves. India helped them secure a homeland for bangaladeshis. India still have lots of bangaladeshi refugees and they live here happy without any restriction.

Srilankan Tamil Issue:
Srilankan issue is very similar to bangaladeshi issue. Only difference is India don't want to help them. Instead they give weapons to srilankan army to kill tamils in srilanka. Srilankan tamil refugees are restricted to live freely in india and they are in the camp.
