Keep fingers crossed

Third front defeating congress & BJP is the biggest joke of this election. I am sure this front will have no say in final tally with congress or BJP will have the strength to form a government without any external support

Third front is fragile
by hiral joshi on May 08, 2009 04:48 PM

Built up of power and money hungry politicians and their private parties. SP, BSP, JDS, RJD can be bought and sold for the purpose of Government making.

Mr. Karat dreaming in daylight
by Trilok on May 08, 2009 04:48 PM

Mr. Karat is living in fools paradise. He is trying to make people fool. He himself know that this time left front will not repeat its 2004 performance and is going to loose its importance in national politics. That is why is making such statements. He seems to be frustrated like Laloo Yadav who is also loosing him temper in anticipation of loosing his base. Mr. Karat should realise the reality that Communists has no future in India. They should look some where else in the world for furtherance of their policies.

by Bhim Sen on May 08, 2009 04:47 PM

This 3rd front will make this nation 3rd grade. We have already witnessed the capacities of these individuals. U.P and Bihar one of the finest states is dead on their knees. No development, governance has gone shi-t. Bengal has gone down because of these commies. If they come to center the whole nation will be in flames. Give me a chance lord to use my ga-da. I love my nation, Give a chance lord, to use my ga-da.

These communist idiots never get tired. Does not matter whether they get 50 seats or even 30 (which they are likely to), the commies want to install a govt. of their choice ( or rather that of their masters in China). Can anyone stop them ?. The nation is tired and sick of them...

Why China is doing so well under the Commies?
      Re: can anyone
by Amar Singh on May 08, 2009 04:35 PM Permalink
Zubair: Simple, under the monolithic Communist Party, they have worked out a
vision, a plan to see that China replaces America as the Superpower. All their actions are directed to that goal. If you ignore the brutalities, the massive violations of human rights, which are not reported, then you could admire the single-minded way they are going about realising their objective.

The US owes them trillions of dollars (being the proceeds of the massive trade deficit that the US ran up over the past
decade). The rest of the world does not have the means, and the will to challenge China in any way.

China is leveraging its massive labour force by becoming the factory and workshop of the world. Cheaply produced goods, sold even more cheaply (at less than the cost) to gain market-share, massive investments in infrastructure, SEZs, factories, all these are now being leveraged to dominate markets, keep out competition. Trade, finance is now being used as another, but far more aggressively, aspect of diplomacy and strategic relations.

How Deep Is China's Penetration of Trade?
Well, they have rendered thousands of Banarsi, Tankha sari, silk weavers, jobless, with their machine-woven, cheaply-priced imitation saris and fabrics. Ganpati idols, Diwali lanterns, festoons, decorative electric lights,
battery cells, fans, cellphones, you name it, every item that India can/is producing
is finding a cheaper Chinese alternative.
They are rendering thousands upon thousands of Indians jobless. Settled communities of Karigars, who took pride in
their diligently hand-woven saris, have been reduced to pulling rickshaws, because they have no other means of livelihood.
Of course, under this England-trained economist, Dr. Manmohan Singh, we in India have not lifted a finger to counter the Chinese.

as super power in which sense really? militerily bot so easy? per capita income . It will take decades for china to have the GDP equal to USA. Then thweir population is 5 times more than USA. So even then they will be 5 times poorere than USA in terms of life standard. Now cheap labor is available , because China's per capita income is 6000 US dollers while that iof USA is 460000 US dollars ( in terms of purchasing power parity). When China has the same income like USA 9 I mean total income0 then can they have cheap labor, who will work for such a cheap salary as it is now? Aging population became a curse to Japan. It will be the same case for china after some time because of thier one child policy. I amginations are very easy and practical achoivement is difficult. Every begger thinks that he will become rich. but it is only those who are rich are reallky rich. USA and most of the western counties achoved welth and we have to tell stories about China dn India, because writing and talking is very easy and available to all folish people and all beggers. Efficient people achiove the things and prove it. Foolish people remain in illusionary world.

Panduranga, Panduranga,Maaza Panduraga the Chinese are not looking to becoming a superpower in the next year, or two, or five or even ten years. They have a very clear idea of what is required. Secondly, they are not held back by any liberal notions of human rights, liberties. The Chinese have a deep sense of history and civilisation. Their civilisation is continuous, unbroken, going back 5000 years, like India.

The USA is just a 240 years old entity. The USA is deep in debt, and a large part of that debt is held by China. So how did such an efficient people achieve such a foolish position of becoming as you put it, 'beggers'?

Panduranga, "because China's per capita income is 6000 US dollers while that iof USA is 460000 US dollars ( in terms of purchasing power parity)" the CIA's handbook says the USA's per capita income is 48,000 dollars. Please don't go around tossing figures from your hat. The CIA handbook estimates the US
has a GDP purchasing power parity of (2008 est.) 14.29 trillion, while China
has 7.8 trillion. Looks the 'beggers' will not take much time in catching up
"with those who are rich, are really rich". That's rich!
