lol...congress and NCP has wiped out BJP and shivsena!! do you get news channels at all?
Its very much clear its a hung parliament. which means the smaller parties will start the bargain game and encash their numbers. isnt it ridiculuos single digit parties with only their vested interest or at the most their regional interest belling the cat. where is the NATIONAL INTEREST going. today for formation of the govt all parties talk about secularism. Identify one party which does not play a religion card? It may be Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Dalit, Yadav card and what not. all parties play with common man's sentiments to get elected and forget the country. I would suggest the NATIONAL PARTIES WHO HAVE NATIONAL INTEREST ABOVE THE REGIONAL CARD TO COME TOGETHER ON A COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAME, FORGETING THEIR OWN IDEALOGIES FOR THE SAKE OF THE COUNTRY AND FORM A NATIONAL GOVT. MAY BE A CONGRESS & BJP GOVT ON A CMP GIVE AN ECONOMIC BOOST. AND SAVE CRORES OF RUPEES OF THE TAXPAYERS. SHOW ME ONE PARTY IN THIS ELECTION WHICH HAS TALKED OF RISING PRICES RECESSION OR THREATS OF TERRISM SINCERELY WITH AN EARNEST DESIRE TO SOLVE IT ON COMING TO POWER? SORRY THERE are no takers. DREAM OF AN INDIAN DEMOCRACY WITH 2 NATIONAL PARTIES AT THE MOST FOR LOKSABHA. REGIONAL PARTIES SHOULD BE GIVEN THEIR SAY IN STATE ASSEMBLIES IF ALL THESE LEADERS WANT INDIA AND ALL INDIANS TO FLOURISH AND HAVE A SAY IN THE WORLD. HOPE THIS MESSAGE WILL GET A CHANCE TO BE PUT TO DISCUSSION MEDIA SHOULD ALSO PLAY A MATURED ROLE IN CHANGING THE SYSTEM.DONT ONLY ENCASH ON BREAKING NEWS TARUN TALWAR
Reading the article, I think if both Congress and BJP decides to ignore the regional parties and sign a treaty within themselves of doing the same, all these small regional parties will be history soon as far as LS Elections are concerned and mere spectators of the parliament. Unfortunately they are not playing the role of big brothers rather playing a role to rock the basic structure of republican democracy of India.
