Poor and Middle class people have lost hard earned money and savings in shares ? Middle class people have been lured by moving sensex Up and down and UP. ? Have Politicians ever bothered to step out of their A/C vehicles to know the countrymen’s plight , any other time, than during elections only ? Have property investers made pots of money in HISTORIC property boom ? Has price of PHARMACEUTICALS, PAINKILLERS GONE DOWN ?? Has the stock markets being played with constant VOLATILITY. Have Banks agreed to reduce rate of interest ? Do you feel u r earning for the bank ? and ur pockets are always empty ? ........... money ille , not there ! has government taken any action to significantly reduce ROI and check if bankers are passing on the reduction in rate of interests to thier OLD CLIENTS Has pornography, pervertness and kinkyism, frustration increased , become very common ? more stress ? anger, violence in today's youth ? Are more woman out on the streets to ESCORT/ compromise, to earn a living because of loosing jobs and proper means of livelihood ? Has Government put deaf ear towards unemployment ? Why there is so much VOLATILITY in the markets and liquidity has dried up ?

dear vikram you already know the answers to the above and do not need to be a master inconomics to know what games have been and are beng played.
Earlier, her ally Karunanidhi unwantedly, and foolishly "fasted" for 3 hours, and brought the issue of Srilankan Tamils as an election issue. Before that, the issue was not hot and sensitive, and any speech with regard to the Sri Lankan tamils by Sonia would be counter productive. Evading that topic will not be possible. Their Foe Jaya has found a new passion in "Tamil EElam" and these people are not able to bear the heat of her attack and speech. So only, "Karunanidhi" was "Hospitalised" and Sonia's visit "cancelled due to security reasons".
The DMK led UPA group is not well placed this time around in TN! Probably Sonia's visit is cancelled to protect her image, because it is a losing cause anyway!
Congress is a written off force in TN.The party will never be able to win an election in TN without the support of the local parties.The same situation applies in all those states where the party once ruled like Bihar,UP,MP,Chattisgarh,Orissa,Karnataka,Gujarat,WB. The real cause for this downfall of congress in states is due to the arrogance of the Gandhi family. The party will have no future as long as they cling on to the Gandhi psycho. Making leaders overnight of people from the Dynasty overlooking the aspirations of the people who really worked hard to build the party at the grassroots, has created dienchantment amongst the cadres, if any left in the party. Mere slogans like 'garibi hatao' congress ka hath am admi ke saath' will not work. What has the party done during the latest stint of power. Nothing concrete. The only achievement has been the nuclear deal with US. Prices have sky rocketed.Gas cylinders which were available at door steps prior to 2004, are now available only in black. This is what congress has been advocating behind the scenes all these years. Remember what Indira did in the 60s in collusion with the sugar barons of MR? The prices were raised to the abysmal level of Rs. 4.20/kg from Rs. 1.50 and then brought down to Rs. 3.00. Congress is a party of goons and the head of the party is no different. Parameswaran
