It is failure of both congress and DMK who are UPA partners. When ruling parties itself fail to conduct election meetings, how they will provide security opposition parties. It is utter failure of administration of Tamilnadu Government. If the same thing happened in any other opposition ruled state the same Congress could have made hue and cry. It is clearly indicates that in Tamilnadu DMK along with Congress is loosing heavily. DMK Chief is too old to handle the administration better he should take retirement from the active politics to pave way to yougsters.
May be she is afraid of Slipper throwers where she may expect a lot in TN because of Srilankan tamil Issue. Congress and DMK government played a fool game against the tamils in Tamilnadu with respect to Srilankan tamils.

Unfortunately Indian media did not reveal the reality. No investigative journalism happened. And Srilankan Govt sensors the main news and put only favourable news to them. Today also 100s of innocent killed in Srilankan firing.
i dont understand why tamilians opposed the srilankan goverment move. they are only emmiting the bad elements of tamilians who residing in srilankan. after the end of ltte tamilian live happy and prospores there. we all listen the bad behaviour of singhlese with tamils. what truth is this ltte's are also do the same with tamils in zafna. they rapped and killed many innocent tamilians. after ltte chapter closed the we sure the new generation of tamils live happily and srilanka we do more advancement in the happily living of tamilians.

Tamils deserve a separate country in Sri Lanka, because there was always an independent Tamil kingdom, before the Europeand plundered Sri Lanka.
But, LTTE must be destroyed. LTTE murdered several Tamilians within Sri Lanka. It did not allow other Tamil organizations to grow, and did great harm to Tamil cause.

Padman you are a Malayalee I believe.So am I. You know Kerala is the only state where mother's surname is added following a matriarchal system. You know why? Because women never lived with husbands and if she bears four children, there will be 4 fathers and whose surname should be adopted. A state of stenographers and clerks have no right to criticize a state which has produced intellectuals like CV Raman, Subramaniam Chandrasekhar, Rajaji, Mathematician Ramanujan, Rt.Hon. Srinivasa Iyengar, Tiruvalluvar, Kamban, S.Radhakrishnan to name a few. You know if TN stops supplies to Kerala the state will starve.It is a state which produces nothing, but only consumes. The only flourishing industry in Kerala is politics. Not even a 10th of the industry in Tiruppur alone will be found in the whole of Kerala. See the industrial growth of TN and then criticize. Be honest to yourself. I am a Malayalee but still have the guts to accept the truth. Parameswaran

Pawan the Indian media is acting like a mouth piece of Srilankan Government. All the leading magazines and TVs shows LTTE as a culprit. They are alleged in Rajiv killing, but not yet proved so far. But the real scenerio in Srilanka is just a hardcore Genocide. India helps Srilanka on 2 conditions China and pakistan help Srilanka so we help Srilankan millitary 2. Indian businesses recurring heavy loss in Srilanka, These Indian companies put pressure and give money to politicians to kill innocent people so that the Srilankan Army can take the complete control of the region. Thus their business is not affected.
But killing innocent people and Indian Army helps. Let them kill the terrorists. but not the innocents

Padman, If you take cricket, After the Mumbai attack last nov, England cricket team visited only Chennai not in Mumbai. Dont say tamilans can't be trusted. Even today TN and Chennai are the safest place in India. Proof the above said.

Aus cancelled Davis matches not because of TN.They fear India as a country shielding terrorists. TN is a much safer place than Kerala to which state I belong. I have lived in both the States and have found TN to be the safest. Kerala is a state depending upon TN for everything, from food to flowers for the famous temples in the State. In its history Kerala never produced an intellectual. The state has produced only clerks and stenographers. Muslim fundamentalism has not set its foot in TN unlike Kerala which has become a breeding ground for terrorists. Terrorists are exported to the rest of the country from predominently Muslim districts of Kasargod,Mallapuram and Kozhikode. Keralites have a fancy to criticize TN although they are always in TN with begging bowls. Parameswaran
