Do not get issues in SriLanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Nepal etc affect your thoughts while casting your votes. In all our neighbouring countries we have our language speaking people or people belonging to our religion.It doesnt mean that we should destroy our own government when something happens in our neighbouring country. We are INDIAN CITIZENS.
So please think who will do good for the counrty as a whole and vote. Dont let outsiders influence our decision. We as a nation should be strong and vote for a strong leader.
This forum is being monitored and messages posted by outsiders. It is ok. But we Indians should be careful afer reading those messages, be more stronger Indians.
We should be very careful about the politicians who raise issues in other countries as a election issue. These people will sell India when they come to power.
We should support politicians who care for Indians citizens rather than foreign citizens.
And importantly please make a phone call to all your near and dears and tell them they shd definetely vote this time. This will be your national service your beloved nation.

I fully agree with you brother. In tamil there is a proverb "Sagura nerathile sankara podrathu" [People remember god during their death bed]. This is what is happening to LTTE. In the verge of decisive defeat, they are desperately calling Sri sri Ravishankar to mediate peace. Here, politicians are talking about LTTE and ellam. One has to be realistic and logical rather than following polical speeches

Yes...this is a pre dominantly Xtian war, both Tamils and Sinhala's have been converted to Xtianity long back, then why does not the Church bring in peace? Their missionaries can come and get of the Island crossing battle lines and they cant bring in peace. And the poor hapless civilians are stuck in between this chess game. ONLY RETURN OF HINDUISM AND BUDDHISM WILL BRING PEACE TO THE EMERALD ISLE.

Prabakaran didn't invoke POPE to mediate peace - why? Because, prabakaran knows that Pope will support Italian [Sonia] and talk in favor of destroying LTTE further. Now he must be repenting why he converted himself to Xtian.

because most of Media are in receipt of monthly payment for congy propaganda. if their news item deriding BJP ( called Sangh Parivar) were to be a hit then they get hit bonuses. Rajdeep and Pranoy Roy are the unofficial spoksperson of Congys. NewsX appears to be the best among the worst for a balanced approach. Indian Express too give opinions uninfluenced by congys. We should watch the fun when BJP comes to power and these people react. They generally turn cry babies.

Separate Kingdom for Tamils in Sri lanka is not practical. Agree that SL Tamils are hardworking but natural facilities for infrastructure developments are insufficient. They have to depend on some other source. The best source is Southern Sri Lanka. Generally Tamils and sinhalese are living peacefully in the other part of Sri Lanka, though Sinhalese have the 'dominence due to majority' feeling. Otherwise, in difficult times sinhala people are always ready to help tamils, muslims etc.It is better for tamils to co-exist with sinhala people retaining their rights. Afterall, they are also Sri lankan citizens and not Indian citizens. If not for LTTE and their violent methods, tamils would have had a better life in SL. I am now in Sri lanka and i see lot of items are donated by sinhala people towards their tamil brethern who are displaced. Humanism is prevalent everywhere. Whether you like or not, this is the situation here.
Before May13 Mme.S also will be in hospital because of overwhelming anti-UPA wave sweeping thro entire tamilnadu. Hope she will also be admitted in the same hospital in chennai near to Mr.K
