Two possibilities. 1) If Congress has a good number in the Parliament and are able to form a government, DMK will stick on to them. Congress may need their support.
2) If BJP gains power, and AIADMK refuses to join them, DMK may join them at the Centre. Result, Congress will withdraw support to DMK immediately in the State.
3) IF UPA loses, and may not need DMK's help, the Congress in Chennai will ask for Cabinet berths. Else they will threaten to withdraw support. DMK has no choice, if they want to stay in power.

i think he is actually relieving himself in the L00 and then coming for discussion. earlier he used to do it in the discussion board itself! But i am still skeptical because habits die hard!

IBN is reporting that it is cancelled due to "ill health" of Karunanidhi.
Basically the Congress has decided that they actually want the DMK-Congress combine to be routed in the state and lose all 40 seats so that AIADMK, PMK, MDMK can join the Congress after the election and they will dump the DMK. This is why they Sonia is not campaigning with the DMK now.

STOP CREATING ANOTHER NON ISSUE....havent we had enough of this nonsensical bickering already. All our languages are gr8 period. All are based on Sanskrit, they are equally important.

hindi, convent education, good culture are the property of Periyar, Karunanidhi, Murasolimaran and the like. the rest of us mortals have to learn science, technology, engineering, math and physics in Tamil and hate the guys who speak hindi and english. NOWADAYS THIEVES WANT TO DO THINGS EXCLUSIVELY, WITHOUT INTERFERENCE U SEE!

time is nobody's property. it has already consumed some a55h0les like Periyar! the next one is in waiting! Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit, English all have to be respected as Mothers. Its a sin if you respect your mother and demean other mothers, just remember this rule! Go learn your ABC before ranting here!

Try implementing it. If you try that only Below Poverty line States like UP, Bihar & MP will be called as HINDI-YA ?
moughals & British rulled India did they succeded in changing the National Language of India as URUDU or ENGLISH ?
In just 60yrs of post independence you want to make INDIA as HINDI-YA. For 3000 Yrs sankskrit could not penetrate throughout India. Remember Hindi is just a dust of URUDU & SANSKRIT
India needs the able guidance and dynamic leadership of madam Soniaji..tamilians will slowly but surely understnad who the real villains are and then they will vote for congress.

That will be too late. By that time, damage to TN will be already over. We can't decide [TN election results]based on messages posted here. As far as I observe in TN, Govt employees and poor sections strongly support DMK-Cong. There are good chances for the combine.
Most of the Tamils in Srilanka are Hindus and few Xtians.
I always wonder, what would have been the global reaction if these Tamils were Muslims. At the same time how muslims in India would have reacted to the Tamils killings in Srilanka if they belonged to Islam.
